The requirement under WP:NGEO is that an article has significant independent coverage. While it is true that there are numerous mentions of this stadium under its common name in various media, I cannot find a mention that passes WP:SIGCOV - namely, a mention that addresses the stadium directly and in detail. Instead, all the mentions are in discussions of matches that were played in the Stadium and thus do not meet the requirement. With that said, I would be surprised if there was nothing out there, though scouring the other Wikipedia's suggest that this may be the case; if something could be found I would have zero objection to a Speedy Keep. - Keep - Searching for the name of the stadium in French, which is Stade 20 Août 1955 (Béchar), I found a lot of news and sources talking about it as it can be found
here. It's also the home of
Algerian side
JS Saoura, a club that plays in the
Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1, the top tier league of the Algerian football league system and also plays in the
2018–19 CAF Champions League and reached the
group stage; so it's surely going to be needed. Note that I've previously nominated the article for renaming to Stade 20 Août 1955 (Béchar) per
WP:COMMONNAME.

- I found a lot of the same sources, but the issue is that the mentions are trivial, such as the example I posed above where it is talking about x match at the stadium. These are not sufficient to meet the requirements for notability. NoCOBOL ( talk) 05:12, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
- There's plenty of sources, though. Of course a brief mention in a match article doesn't count, but there are enough articles which discuss the actual stadium to make this a clear keep. SportingFlyer T· C 05:22, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
