That AFD, as the closer noted, was a narrow consensus for a 9th tier team. This one is for a 5th tier team. It's not comparable! Nfitz ( talk) 04:16, 30 August 2020 (UTC) reply
If you're looking for something comparable, there have been 18 AfDs on fifth tier seasons in the last month ( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18), all of which have ended in deletion. Number 5 7 11:40, 30 August 2020 (UTC) reply
These publications have pretty consistent independent coverage of the events of the season, obviously circulating around the liquidation. There are also plenty of snippet mentions in columns and other coverage. I don't have access to the British Newspaper Archive, but a basic search there also has some very promising possibilities from the time period.   • Keep - significant coverage, as noted above - which isn't surprising as they'd just been demoted from Division 4, and had significant media coverage at the beginning of the season, and then again later in the season when they were expelled, and finally as the team went bankrupt.
