Hey! I've noticed you closed the nomination above, but it doesn't seem to be closed for a valid reason. The review was started on 20 December and you posted a single suggestion on 1 January. Then on 23 January, it was suddenly closed as fail for the nominator being inactive for 7 days. But you barely even had started reviewing the article yet. The nominator wasn't even pinged or anything. These closes should only happen when the nomination is put on hold (so after the review is done) and the nominator fails to respond in a timely manner, but they had nothing to respond to begin with. The point isn't to ping the nominator, but rather the reason the review was failed for, as I explained above. It is invalid to close a nomination for the nominator being inactive when you haven't even finished your review. If you just wanted to stop reviewing, you could've stated so instead. The first round of the 2024 WikiCup ended at 23:59 (UTC) on 27 February. Everyone with at least 30 points moved on to Round 2, the highest number of points required to advance to the second round since 2014. Due to a six-way tie for the 64th-place spot, 67 contestants have qualified for Round 2.

The following scorers in Round 1 all scored more than 300 points:

We are approaching the end of the 2024 WikiCup's second round, with a little over two weeks remaining. Currently, contestants must score at least 105 points to progress to the third round.

Our current top scorers are as follows:
