Closing discussions

Hi, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, I believe closing discussions should be done by a more experienced user, or an administrator. I have reverted some of your closures, as they do not provide a clear reason for your closure, and may not follow how Wikipedia determines WP:CONSENSUS. Feel free to contribute to Wikipedia in other ways! Natg 19 ( talk) 16:56, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply

@ Ships&Space I have reverted your close since there's a request for close already open. This should be closed by an experienced editor who is uninvolved. Thanks! Nemov ( talk) 19:24, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply
Again, they are sufficiently experienced to close the RfC, and are uninvolved. Redacted II ( talk) 19:41, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply
With all due respect, there's nothing in that close that supports your argument. The WP:CR was ignored, not updated, and the RFC tags weren't even removed. I'm not involved and it needs to be closed by someone who weighs the arguments. Thanks! Nemov ( talk) 19:47, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply
Look at the editing history: 95 edits as of now. To me at least, that is sufficient experience.
Also, they didn't ignore the WP:CR.They stated that they were closing the RfC, and then recommended going to DRN. Both of these were reverted by Natg 19. Redacted II ( talk) 19:52, 19 April 2024 (UTC) reply
Respectfully, I do not consider 100 edits anywhere close to experienced enough. I would expect a closer to have several thousand. Additionally, non-admin closers must expect their closes to be scrutinized and should carefully explain why they have made the closure they did in the close itself in all but the most obvious cases, which this editor does not seem to have done.
Ships&Space: I appreciate your enthusiasm to help out with closing discussions, which is a difficult task that requires more people doing it. However, before one can have a good understanding of how to close discussions, one must participate in a large number of them and see how they are closed. I would encourage you to start there.
