Hi there. I see you've put Townsville up for nomination at WP:GAN. I haven't read it properly, but it looks in the right ballpark. One thing you're likely to come up against, though, is that the referencing isn't in great shape. The weblinks should ideally have something that identifies the publisher / source, and a retreival date, if nothing else. A lot of them only have the title of the webpage. For example, footnote 11 - the history from the Thuringowa City Council site - is in good shape, whereas most from number 38 onwards lack enough detail. I hope you'll be able to improve them. Ping me at my talk page if you have any questions. It'll probably be several weeks before a review comes along to do a proper review, so you've got a bit of time! regards, hamiltonstone ( talk) 23:41, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Hi there,
I must disagree with your assessment of this article. Instead of expanding it to an article of the same quality as Joel Selwood (the only featured article for Wikiproject AFL), I contend that your edits are stubbing it down. The introduction is meant to be a summation of the entire article body. The body of the article itself is a work in progress, which you could have perhaps looked into through the article history instead of cutting it all out in one edit. I'm not quite sure of your issue with the possessions table, as its presence in football player articles has been a non-issue in many other articles.
Perhaps next time it would be best to raise your concerns through the discussion section of the article instead of undoing a good portion of the article. Cheers, Boomtish ( talk) 12:16, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
File:Herman Shaw.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Herman Shaw.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Herman Shaw.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. Just thought I would check that you realised someone has done the GA review and raised quite a few issues, and will be waiting for responses from you and other editors... Cheers, hamiltonstone ( talk) 04:48, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading File:Kathleen Scott.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:16, 28 August 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG ( talk) 18:16, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. You added the text "[[fact]]" in three spots in the article Australian property bubble. I am guessing you meant to leave "{{fact}}" instead? The first of these will show up like this: fact, the second wil look like this: citation needed
I've taken it off for now. I don't usually expect to see citations in the lead. If there is something in the lead that is not otherwise supported in the text, you can use the tag {{ Citation needed (lead)}}. It will look like this in the text: not verified in body

Hi there! You are cordially invited to the first meetup in Townsville on Saturday 21 April. Details and an attendee list are at Wikipedia:Meetup/Townsville. I hope to see you there! As a past editor of at least one of the articles, you may wish to comment at Talk:South Eastern Freeway#2015 Merge proposal for a new proposal to merge these two articles as it appears the government now considers it to be all one road. As there will be quite a bit of work, I decided to consult before being bold. -- Scott Davis Talk 22:29, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
