…but could you offer a quick word to explain the deletion of the User:Zefr page? I just wish to understand the process and system. Cheers. 209.152.223.3 ( talk) 13:02, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Hidden variable

Thanks for deleting Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hidden variable theory. Nuff said. I cant do the newfangled "Thank", since the page is deleted: but anyway I think it better that it is acknowledged and permanent, which the new "thank" don't do. Cockup on my part, swiftly resolved, how Wikipedia should be. Si Trew ( talk) 23:30, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of image Shetland Heifer.jpg

You seem to have deleted file:Shetland heifer.jpg, apparently because it was believed to be a copyright violation. It is not: I am the creator of the image. I posted it to WikiMedia some years ago for inclusion in the Wikipedia page on Shetland Cattle (which I notice has also been removed). Can you please explain why the image was assumed to be a copyright violation? — Boxersoft ( talk) 09:20, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

  • So why did you upload the image here instead of to the Commons? Please reply. The image was deleted because TheMagikCow ( talk · contribs) (appropriate name!) thought it was a copyvio from here and I did not bother to check. I accept that the image uploaded looks like an high res original and the image at Shetland Cattle (SCBA) is a mere 256×341px in size. So: upload the image to the Commons. Add a note pointing out that a much lower res version exists on the SCBA website and explaining how it got there. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 13:17, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

I thought I had uploaded it to the Commons under an attrribution/sharealike license, as that's what I have done with the few other images I have added to Wikipedia articles. I can't be certain as it was several years ago and I can't see a way to check. I don't know if I still have the original image available, I'll see if I can dig it out. I could certainly add a note explaining how the image came to be on the SCBA site (I am the webmaster for that site). It has also been used in a number of other places on the web though, from cattle breeders' sites to news articles (all without attribution, I might add). Boxersoft ( talk) 15:12, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

  • @ Boxersoft: OK perhaps your photo archive is not as well organised as mine and it is 6½ years. So I have transferred it for you. Please add the annotation I suggested - this will also help confirm your authorship. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 16:57, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

No, my photo archive isn't particularly well organised. I would probably be able to find the original but it might have involved trawling through backups. Thanks for restoring it.

Just so I can avoid similar problems in future, perhaps you could clarify a few things for me:

  1. It appears that I uploaded this image to Wikipedia and not the Commons. Is that wrong, and if so [a] why is it possible and [b] should I move it over?
  2. It looks like I had indeed declared that I am the copyright holder and creator of the work, and yet it was deleted anyway. I could, as you suggest, annotate the upload to announce that it was subsequently used on another site. Am I supposed to update the annotation any time the image is used elsewhere? As I mentioned, it has already been used on various sites beyond my control so, with the best will in the world, I don't see how I can reliably achieve that.

Boxersoft ( talk) 18:22, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

  • 1a) Uploads are allowed here for fair use purposes. Perhaps we should do more to force people uploading with CC licences to do so to the Commons. 1b) Did my use of the word "transferred" not suggest anything to you? Have you looked where the image now is? 2) No, of course you don't need to update the annotation - simply word it to indicate that copies are likely to be found elsewhere. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 19:52, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

You had indicated that instead of uploading to the Commons I had uploaded it "here", which I took to mean Wikipedia. When you said you had "transferred" it I thought you perhaps meant you had and moved it to the Commons but it looks to me like it's under en.wikipedia.org and doesn't appear under my contributions on commons.wikimedia.org. That's why I asked. As I said, I've only uploaded a few images for use in Wikipedia, so I'm not very familiar with the details and presumably I am confused about the locations. Perhaps you could explain for me what you meant by "transferred"?

My point about annotations is that at the time I uploaded the image I had no idea that it would be used elsewhere. The same is presumably true of most images uploaded for use in Wikipedia. Yes, I can annotate it now in the hope that it will help prevent its deletion again in future but I could not have anticipated that it would be necessary. — Boxersoft ( talk) 07:24, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

  • On this page: file:Shetland heifer.jpg do you see the words "this is a file from the Wikimedia Commons" and further down the words "transferred from en.wikipedia"? Look at any of the images in category:copy to Wikimedia Commons (bot-assessed). Each one has a box on the image description which includes "Copy to Commons: via wmfLabs CommonsHelper". It was that link which I followed to effect the transfer. The image does not appear on your list of Commons contributions because you have not yet done anything to it on the Commons! That is one reason that I am suggesting you annotate the description. The simple fact of your edit implies that you are aware of the transfer and approve it. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 10:33, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of Трихопигментация

Could you take another look at your deletion of Трихопигментация? You marked it as an A3 deletion; when I looked at it, it appeared (even allowing for Google Translator's shortcomings) to be at least a half-way comprehensible article about trichopigmentation (or tricopigmentation). — Largo Plazo ( talk) 19:20, 14 June 2015 (UTC)

I will accept the view of DePiep ( talk · contribs) who tagged a number of chembox-related templates for deletion (and failed to use <noinclude> resulting in ethanol, etc. appearing in CAT:CSD!). — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 10:33, 15 June 2015 (UTC)

I've received...

... a request asking I allow a redirect of a topic which was deleted nine months ago at AFD. The version wished for return appears better sourced and better written than the deleted one. Biters (band)

You recently deleted the page I had started for Biters whom are signed to my record label, Earache Records. I provided evidence of them being featured in Classic Rock Magazine, a well respected magazine sold internationally. Help me understand how to deem something worthy in the eyes of Wikipedia, because if a relatively small up-and-coming band that is trying to build a fan base with the addition of a Wikipedia page is not worth it, then help me understand what is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alex Siegfried ( talkcontribs) 19:11, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Kindly have the decency to wait until someone with no COI thinks the band is notable and writes about it here. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 11:16, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Valid

I am curious about views on the validity of this redirect. The organisation, no longer existing, was called UK Border Agency. The redirect, which now receives no links, is called UK Borders Agency. Thanks. Greg Kaye 16:12, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

  • The speedy tag that you applied, {{ db-g7}} was, quite simply, wrong. Assuming you had meant to apply {{ db-r3}}, I would point out that there is a "recent" condition on that criterion and this redirect was created in 2008. There may be no incoming links but the page is receiving ~4 hits per day. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 16:46, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. I removed the links today so that may account for some of the hits up to now. Its helpful to hear how things work. Maybe deletion servers little purpose but I don't see that the page itself serves any either. Greg Kaye 19:45, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

Pieter Laurens Mol

Hi RHaworth, the article that I created yesterday has been deleted (by you). Here is the link: Pieter Laurens Mol It got deleted because of "Unambiguous advertising or promotion". However, I tried to create an objective article. It stated the artist's birthplace, the media he works in, his publications, some exhibitions and institutions that his works are in. What could I have done differently? I still think this artist deserves a Wikipedia page :-) he had a solo at MoMa for crying out loud!! Many thanks! MvdB123 ( talk) 08:43, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

  • You probably have a COI so I should be trotting out my "kindly …" mantra. But just in case you have no COI - the article contained no attempt to provide evidence of notability - preferably in English language sources. If you really think the guy is notable, I recommend you to find a "sponsor". — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 15:37, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Sarah J. Maas

Hi Roger. Would you mind if I undeleted Sarah J. Maas, an article you deleted back in February 2012 after @ The Devil's Advocate nominated it for speedy deletion (as {{ db-person}})? She's published 4 novels since the article was deleted, some of which were NYT best-sellers (see Throne of Glass), so I think she now meets the notability criteria. I was about to start a new article on the author, before I noticed that the article had previously been deleted: it would probably be easier to start it using existing text, rather than writing it from scratch (although I appreciate that the old article needs quite a bit of rewriting!). Thanks. Mike Peel ( talk) 20:08, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

The original article existed before she had any coverage in reliable sources, so I am not sure what use it would be to base the article off the deleted version.-- The Devil's Advocate tlk. cntrb. 21:45, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

OK, thanks, I'll restore it shortly! There's some useful information in the deleted article which, while not well-referenced at the moment, can serve as a starting-point to find better refs. Thanks. Mike Peel ( talk) 17:04, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Hmm, "New York Times bestseller" claims are surprisingly difficult to find references for! But the restored article has now been substantially reworked and more clearly referenced, and I'll continue working on finding better references and expanding the article. Thanks. Royal Aero Club Records

Good evening, Mr Haworth, I'm working on this page to provide a place on Wikipedia for the organisation. It was deleted as being an unambiguous copvio (correct term?) of another website - Clubzz. This website has extracted it's content from our Air Racing Handbook - Air Racing Handbook. This is the first time I was even aware of the Clubzz listing. It's still a work in progress and I have to add at least two references, and seek out some missing information such as the chairmen. I would ask that you be kind enough to reinstate the draft, and allow me to continue to develop it and submit it for consideration for publication in the future. — Petechilcott ( talk) 21:54, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Please learn the difference between it's and its. Copyvio or not, the article was a long way from the proper encyclopedic tone that we need. But I am happy to email you it - read this. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 22:42, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you. I have verified my account. Are you able to offer advice on how I might improve the article for inclusion in Wikipedia? This is my first full article, having only undertaken minor edits, and I would like to do things correctly with the aim of having the article accepted for publication. — Petechilcott ( talk) 16:57, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Assuming this thread relates to the club, you have received your answer: don't bother. But in fact I am surprised at your "one source" claim - it is an active club - do its events never receive any newspaper coverage for example? If you do persist in trying to create an article, the obvious advice is: do not cobble together stuff from your website: do the job properly and write a proper article from scratch. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 20:07, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Your deletion

I'm discussing with a user here that reverting would have been appropriate for a stub of a notable subject if subsequent edits added a promotional tone, not deletion. I pinged you earlier, but you did not respond. Regards, Samsara 13:31, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Ryan King

Hi RHaworth. Way back in 2008, you placed creation protection on Ryan King. I'm looking to create an article about Ryan King, the Canadian football long snapper who has played in the Canadian Football League for three years (see: CFL profile). As per WP:NGRIDIRON, this Ryan King is presumed notable. Could you take a look at possibly lifting this creation protection to allow this article to be created? In the meantime, I'll start working on it as a userspace draft. ~ Rob Talk 17:30, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Submit it via AfC. If it is accepted then removal of the protection will be uncontroversial. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 20:07, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

It's been submitted. Once it's been accepted, I assume the reviewer will take care of getting the creation protection removed, or is there some additional process I'll need to go through to have the creation protection removed? ~ Rob Talk 03:36, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for deleting those files!

Thank you for deleting those files so I could reupload them. A question though, how do I stop Wikipedia collecting the Metadata from the image? I don't really like personal details being on the website, I redownloaded them and that fixed it but is there a quicker way? Thanks, -- Anar chyte 12:53, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

  • You already know the solution - don't put your name in the metadata! Another approach would be to upload as PNG files - which might be a more appropriate format anyway. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 21:38, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Geekonomicon deleted, trying to recreate

Previously you had deleted the page created last year for the Geekonomicon convention. I'm trying to re-create the page this year but I don't want to run afoul of your previous reasons for deletion. As I cannot see what the prior page looked like and I can only see the cited vague reasons I'm at a bit of a loss. I'm trying to create the page this weekend in a sandbox before I publish it again and don't want to waste my time. So far I'm looking at other Fandom convention pages to use as a template. If you can provide more information on why the prior page was removed it would be helpful. — Frosty228 ( talk) 18:38, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

( talk page stalker) Courtesy link to the page. Based on the deletion reason I am guessing the article was written in an overly promotional fashion and didn't show how it is notable enough to be included in Wikipedia, specifically Wikipedia:Notability (events). The article should have reliable sources showing that it fits the requirements of the latter guideline. Jo-Jo Eumerus ( talk) 18:50, 20 June 2015 (UTC)

Deletion of Waycore

You deleted Waycore with a logged reason of "A7: Article about a company, corporation or organization, which does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject". However, the article stated that it was abut a programming language, not a company. Now whether that language is notable is a different question, but I don't think this qualified under A7. Please consider undeleting. — DES (talk) 22:17, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Utter pedantry. It was a pathetic 273 byte stub. What does it matter what deletion reason we use. Feel free to restore it if you must. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 22:48, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
  • I beg to differ. My point isn't the reason in the log -- although I think accurate deletion reasons are important. My point is that with a creative work such as a book or a programming language, a facial examination of a stub won't reliably tell you, or any admin, whether a proper article on a notable topic could be developed from that stub, or not. My other point is that there is consensus to speedy delete certian narrowly limited categories of pages, but beyond the letter of the criteria, there is not such consensus, and consensus to delete must be created via Prod or AfD in a particular case. As for "a pathetic 273 byte stub" I have seen worse stubs develop into quite valid articles. A few examples:
    • Great American Lesbian Art Show was a 208 byte sub-stub. Now it is 8,625 bytes and has had a DYK mention on the main page.
    • Isabel Ashdown was an 868 byte stub that had just been tagged for speedy deletion. Now it is 8,061 bytes and it also had a DYK mention.
    • Mahler on the Couch was a 31-byte sub-stub! Now it is 7,221 bytes bytes long, and I have nominated it for DYK.
  • Anyway I shall, in accord with your kind pemisison above, undelete this and move it to draft, and see if I can source it better. Thank you. DES (talk) 00:56, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi DES. I can't comment on the merits of your page but you may want to consider seeking a review as per Wikipedia:Deletion_policy#Speedy_deletion. I did because I disagree/d with User:RHaworth's speedy delition of a page I created, since the claimed "A7" reason also used in my case was unsubstantiated/inappropriate. Good luck. CtrlXctrlV ( talk) 11:14, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Just dropping in, I re-deleted Draft:Waycore as a blatantly made up topic, have zero online sources whatsoever despite a good search for them. Not necessarily a reason to delete but for a supposedly brand new programming language, I'll make an exception. Perhaps RHaworth would have had more joy deleting per A11 than A7, but there you go. If somebody can find actual sources for it, feel free to undelete and add them (if you're an admin) or recreate the draft (if you're not), then serve me some seafood. You salted the article in 2010 since there were so many recreations of the page with no proof of notability. I agree that salting was the right idea at that time. Moe Salem user askandrany 1

Please could you explain why you Delete my paper some claim a copy right, 1st of all they are talking about 2 different subject, i just want to know why it was deleted Water Side Evaporative Heat Recovery, one paper that one it was in Air2O company talking about indirect Evaporative cooleing, it dont have any thing about energy recovery, this one is talking about Evaporative recovery, to some one not from the industry they seem similar but they are not. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MoeSalem ( talkcontribs)

  • Your use of the word "paper" says it all. Blatant violation of our no original research policy. Also whilst it may not be a copyvio from the Air2O source cited, given the poor quality of your English, I am very dubious about whether you were the author of the piece. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 22:43, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

You making an assumption about me you don't know me Sir 1st i might use the word paper by mistake rather than article or white paper, but really how dare you you tell me I am not the author, i am a mechanical engineer with over 20 year of experience, the only Reason you suspect that i am not the author is what .. just because my name or because of what you have profile me .. shame on you ... so you delete my article just because you suspect that i am not the author really i am speechless and I don't know what to tell you... MoeSalem ( talk) 23:47, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Just do me a favor please read the Acknowledgment in the Air2O paper and here i am copy it for you:

The authors gratefully acknowledge the support provide by the Ras Tanura refinery HVAC maintenance group and Mr. Mohamed (Moe) Salem of Air2O for their continued support throughout the pilot test.

80% of the paper of air2o was my work ... thats why it has the same way of thinking even they are not related , I demand to be treated fair, the article is original work of my self,, it is published in different magazines and Journals the same article will published under my name in http://www.theedge.me/ .. for your information Sir I am one of the very Few people around the world who understand this technology, and that's why i wrote about it, to help people and to educate really really I am super disappointed, I expected that wiki will have some one expert in the subject matter talk to me about my article. — MoeSalem ( talk) 23:47, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Even if it is not a copyvio, NOR still applies. Yes, we probably do have experts - follow this advice and find one. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 12:53, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

That was a repository so I can google translate entire page for the purpose of reading. Is it copyvio if it is in a sandbox? -- KAVEBEAR ( talk) 13:50, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Yes, of course it is. And I believe that a straight Google translate of the page would also be considered a copyvio. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 13:58, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Yes I understand for an article thus this was why it was for reading purpose. I will just keep it not visible by blanking..-- KAVEBEAR ( talk) 14:15, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Draft: Marcus L. MIller

Hello, Back on 3 September 2014 you deleted a page draft Draft: Marcus L. Miller I am recreating a page similar to the previously deleted page, so I wanted to contact you. Would you be able to restore it so that I can make appropriate edits per your feedback? Can you provide the text to me via email or restore the article to user: or draft: space? This was the link. https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Draft:Marcus_L._Miller&action=edit&redlink=1 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maryamhosseinzadeh ( talkcontribs) 19:53, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Hi, So very sorry to send this twice but the first time I did not sign it and it was not in the correct format which you prefer, as noted above. I am planning to correct/edit a draft page that you deleted on 3 September 2014. Could you please provide a copy to me or restore of Draft:Marcus L. Miller? Thank you! Maryamhosseinzadeh ( talk) 20:02, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Second attempt was still not in the preferred format which is Draft:Marcus L. Miller. Can you see the difference? But emailed anyway because you did try. — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 21:01, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Unspeedy

You removed my edit on Mahayana sutras as "unspeedy". I'm unclear on what that means, as I followed the instructions on how to move a page. Is this an objection to content or procedure? Ogress smash! 00:26, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

  • Procedure. Follow the instructions properly. Look at your tag. See the words "the page to be moved to this name is Mahayana sutras" - did you wonder why "Mahayana sutras" is black rather than being a link? — RHaworth ( talk · contribs) 11:21, 26 June 2015 (UTC)

Nirvana Spa Deletion

Hi, I created the article Nirvana Spa but it was deleted as being advertising. This is not the case at all. Nirvana is the UK's largest Spa and therefore worthy of note. As for advertising, the article included negative aspects of the Spa, such as the fact that there was a chlorine leak that led to circa 40 people needing hospital treatment- this is hardly positive advertising. As an example, see the entry for a similar business, Champneys. Is this also advertising? Please reconsider the deletion as the rationale behind it is not correct. — contribs) ( talk) 18:52, 26 June 2015 (UTC) Amencorner72

  • I was tempted to block you for personation - pretending to be a logged in user when in fact you are an IP address - but I will overlook that point. Ten reasons for deletion

Hello, I am trying to create an English version of Ten Music Group Wikipedia page. I saw that the page was previously created but got deleted Ten Music Group. Hi I was just wondering why the User talk page is deleted where in fact it is a real person certification can be provided that the person was once a public personality. He appeared on the stated tv shows on the article. It was deleted last 05 February 2015. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Malayangpahayagan ( talkcontribs) 00:40, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

As an FYI, there is an OTRS ticket 2015062910017443 concerning the text at Draft:DevOpsInstitute.com granting appropriate permission for the use of text from "www.devopsinstitute.com". (I have no opinion on whether restoration of this article is or is not appropriate for reasons unrelated to permission.) -- B ( talk) 13:32, 30 June 2015 (UTC)

To whom it may concern, I am contacting you to request that pages: Kaya Stewart and Kaya stewart be reinstated. These articles were deleted because lack of information about why this person is significant. I am a representative from Warner Bros. Records in Burbank, California and Kaya Stewart is one of our upcoming artists. She is widely popular and extremely known in the music world. Her new single "I'm In Love WIth a Boy" has created a lot of buzz for Warner Bros. and her recent tour attracted thousands in the audience. This Wiki page is vital for her success and publicity. Praise abort deletion

Hello. I found the article Praise Abort from the top search engine result, but was surprised to find it deleted for the reason A9: Non-notable music by artist without a Wikipedia article.

I can only presume that the root cause was a poor quality article. The artist, Till Lindemann, does has a comprehensive article. The album containing this single, Skills in Pills, also has a good article. Reliable sources of data are not hard to come by. Most articles include a lengthy comment sections, demonstrating that many people find this song notable. [2] [3] [4] [5] There is plenty of speculation about the meaning of this song, which is likely to be the main reason they'd come to this Wikipedia article. — Hsimah ( talk) — Preceding undated comment added 03:36, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Hsimah, your comment above included more information than the entire deleted article did. Probably it would be easier and simpler to strt anew than bother working from the deleted stub. Note that it is rare that an individual song is notable on its own, although some songs clearly are. DES (talk) 03:56, 4 July 2015 (UTC)

Re: Deleted page, "Frangesco Piazzola"

Dear Mr. Haworth, I am new to contributing to wikipedia, and logged in to continue working on an article titled draft:Frangesco Piazzola that I created a few weeks ago. I believe you deleted the article - forgive me but this is the only link I could find, and it leads to an empty page. I am the creator of the text I used to create the article, which I had previously posted on Gracie Art Square's website and also Mr. Piazzola's website, which I have created. He is an artist that has sold alongside Picasso at the Hilde Gerst gallery - you can read about him here: http://zolasartnyc.com

We (his team, art collectors, art department chairs that have reviewed his work, Hilde Gerst) believe him very worthy of a wikipedia page. I would very much like to post this wikipedia article; could I trouble you for some guidance as to how to proceed? If you email me you will receive a vacation message that states I am on maternity leave (I am due tomorrow!) but I will respond at my earliest. Many thanks for your time and attention to this matter - thanks for everything you do to keep wikipedia legitimate! 2016 in heavy metal music

Hi, I saw that 2016 in heavy metal music is deleted and only admins can create that page. 2015 just began it's second half and thought I'll ask if 2016 in heavy metal music can be created? There are already more than 10 bands that confirmed their albums for 2016. I'll be waiting for your response and I hope you'll give your reasons for creating or not creating the above mentioned article. Cheers! – Sabbatino ( talk) 16:50, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of BBC micro:bit page

Hi

I hope you are well.

Just wanted to contact you about the BBC micro:bit page which I created and which you speedily deleted. Thank you for taking the time to review it.

Fair play on the deletion - the original article I wrote was light. I meant it as a teaser, but clearly that's not what wiki is about, and I apologise for not reading the literature as thoroughly as I should have.

I will be reposting the page at 10.30 with significantly more info, in particular the very first photo of an actual microbit anywhere on the internet (well, there is a chance someone will get in there before me - the product launch will be happening in parallel).

Hope the next version passes muster!

Clarification

Sir, just for my information and guidance, can you please specify the exact reason for which the images were deleted? I believe it was due to G5 and not F3. Thanks.— TripWire  talk 09:24, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Admin, you also clarify whether images File:The fourth round, Indo-Pak war, 1984.jpg and File:The Trekker's Guide to the Himalaya and Karakoram 01.jpg. that you deleted was already having G5 tag or not? Because Topic banned user TripWire doing personal attack on me regarding this issue. He thinks that I didn't tagged it with G5 as on his talk page notice of speedy deletion there is mention of only F3. -- Human3015 knock knock • 11:19, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Thornbury railway station, Gloucestershire

Hi, Useddenim ( talk · contribs) tagged and you deleted Thornbury railway station, Gloucestershire as G6 with the rationale "it is an unused redirect – no pages link to Thornbury railway station, Gloucestershire" - however this does not fall within one of the G6 criteria (such as blocking a page move). At WP:RFD we find "redirects should not be deleted simply because they do not have any incoming links. Please do not list this as the only reason to delete a redirect" and this is expanded upon at WP:RFD#HARMFUL. So if this redir would not have been deleted at RFD, I don't see how it qualifies for G6. -- Redrose64 ( talk) 14:57, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
