It was a fifty/fifty

I wasn't sure if it would look good on my administrator record as one of my first acts to be an indef-block. If he comes back and vandalises again I will indef him myself but for the moment the time has passed. –– Lid( Talk) 14:12, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

To be fair yours had an inappropriate username too making it effectively impossible to assume good faith. –– Lid( Talk) 14:29, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
So this is the life of an administrator; getting into a debate over whether nominating for a second time a list of famous people with bow ties is gaming the system in an AfD over a list of nude celebrities. To be fair the celebrities came before the adminship and the bow ties came after. –– Lid( Talk) 14:42, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

RfA

I considered not spamming talk pages but not saying "thanks" just isn't me. The support was remarkable and appreciated. I only hope that I am able to help a little on here. Please let me know if I can help you or equally if you find any of my actions questionable. Thanks & regards -- Herby talk thyme 12:46, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Featured List of the Day Experiment

There have been a series of proposals to initiate a Featured List of the Day on the main page. Numerous proposals have been put forth. After the third one failed, I audited all WP:FL's in order to begin an experiment in my own user space that will hopefully get it going. Today, it commences at WP:LOTD. Afterwards I created my experimental page, a new proposal was set forth to do a featured list that is strikingly similar to my own which is to do a user page experimental featured list, but no format has been confirmed and mechanism set in place. I continue to be willing to do the experiment myself and with this posting it commences. Please submit any list that you would like to have considered for list of the day in the month of January 2008 by the end of this month to WP:LOTD and its subpages. You may submit multiple lists for consideration.-- TonyTheTiger ( t/ c/ bio/ WP:LOTD) 21:42, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Reese Witherspoon

Yeah, I understand how the proof for that might be a little sketchy. I did put another reference though (People magazine's website), but again I can see how that might not be enough to prove it's more than just a rumor. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to explain your actions and for wishing me welcome, although that might be a bit late; my account may only be a month old but I've been editing anonymously for a while now. And the world domination part... is my idea of humor =P -- Lexxa.xo 15:49, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Sounds good to me, and maybe something like "There has been much speculation over a relationship between her and her Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal. Rumours began circulating after they were seen dining together at Il Sole in Los Angeles, and photos of the pair vacationing in Italy were released," could be included as well...? (Although seeing as I just came up with that on the spot, I'm not entirely sure that that was grammatically correct). -- Lexxa.xo 21:01, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
Wow, I remember posting something here earlier today, but I guess it didn't show up..? Anyways, I love the way you worded it. Much better than what I had before lol. -- Lexxa.xo 16:53, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

RfA thanks

Just wanted to say thanks for supporting me! You were one of my original inspirations back in June, honestly. A model admin you are! :) Please find your thank you card here, should you wish to see it. I'm honored to have received your support. And I gotta ask... was there anything specific that prompted you to say that I had the patience of a saint?? :P All the best, ~ Eliz 81 (C) 02:12, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Why was this deleted? You said it was a redundant image, but I uploaded it 5 days BEFORE the image that it was replaced by (I uploaded my image on November 12. The other editor uploaded theirs on November 17, only 1 hour before my image was speedy deleted by you). I suspect that the other editor wanted a pic they uploaded to be the one in the article, and then put the redundant image tag on mine. Can you undelete my image? Either that, or I will do the same thing they did (reupload my pic, then request theirs be speedy deleted). TJ Spyke 05:12, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Jeremy (name)

Pardon me if I'm not understanding the concept of histmerge requests correctly, but I was hoping an admin could merge the history of Jeremy into that of Jeremy (name). I see you have deleted Jeremy (name) [1] after my request; did you delete the article in preparation for the requested histmerge, or did you just plain delete it?-- The Fat Man Who Never Came Back ( talk) 04:29, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

Replied on my talk page, with request for more help.-- The Fat Man Who Never Came Back ( talk) 22:03, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Official thanks, slightly delayed due to post-RfA crash (who knew?)

Ok, no problem. Thanks for letting me know. -- ¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:06, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey again, the Giri (Sanskrit) article was deleted because it had been transwikied to wiktionary and also had an expired PROD I believe. Thanks -- ¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 16:21, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes, the AfD was closed with "no consensus" which makes it an uncontroversial delete which is what PROD's should be used for. Thanks -- ¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 17:09, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
When deleting pages I do examine the history, however I must have glazed over them two. It was my mistake and I am sorry for the confususion. Thanks -- ¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 09:49, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Because I did not get round to restoring it and you kindly did it for me. -- ¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 10:55, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Firstly, I wasn't aware that once an AfD has been opened it is a controversial deletion however I now know. When I said "the AfD was closed with "no consensus" which makes it an uncontroversial delete", that is what I genuinly believes was correct in that situation. Secondly it was my error, and I apologize for it, that I did not check to see if the article has been previously discussed at AfD before deleting it. I have read and familiarized myself with WP:PROD but as I said above, I - wrongly - did not exercise it. I am saorry for not giving you "a sufficient response" but I do not spend all of my time on wikipedia. Thanks -- ¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 13:18, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I just noticed that you deleted this about a week ago as an "implausible typo". I don't think it is, though - the article says that "...It does not have any proper title, but publishers and book sellers usually put four dashes as the title", and the redirect ---- points there. I created the above redirect from ---- (book) to be a slightly clearer version of ---- for linking purposes (and also because it might be searched on by someone who knows our disambiguation guidelines). I'd appreciate if you'd consider reinstating the redirect for the above reasons. Thanks in advance for your reply. Gavia immer (talk) 15:00, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:TROQ01.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:TROQ01.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:18, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
