I understood the date in brackets as intending to be the current date. If it is meant to be the date the player most recently became their current ranking perhaps a more clear format is suitable to avoid confusion. JGS952 ( talk) 14:17, 6 July 2021 (UTC)

Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as
typo corrections or reverting obvious
vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you.
