I appreciate your interest in redirecting people to sites that you see as more reliable, but please know that Wikipedia is not meant to be perfect.
Vandalism can happen, but (as you can see), it tends to be rolled back quickly by editors that keep their eye out for such changes.
I hope you decide to contribute to the site positively, and serve to make the site more reliable rather than to make it less so.
(And, trust me, I get where you're coming from. I'm here to improve the site after fixing an unreliable edit and deciding to improve articles.)
