Washington, D.C.

I have restored the article to before your mass addition of unsource text as per WP:Burden...mass addition of images as per WP:SANDWICH and WP:GALLERY...mass linking of catagories . An FA level article is not the place to learn the WIki ways. Pls review Wikipedia:Writing better articles. Moxy- 15:54, 9 March 2022 (UTC) reply

Hi Moxy. The vast majority (95%+) of what I added was not copied. I can show you exactly what was copied, and I ask that you change this back to what it was when I finished with it. I will go in and will adjust the sections that were copied so they are not copied. I made the article significantly better than it was before being copied. There is no question about that. Dmford13 ( talk) 16:11, 9 March 2022 (UTC) reply
pls stop reverting and read the links above. Your changes has not improved the article in fact made accessibility almost impossible pls read over WP:BRD....don't get blocked ' WP:3RV.' Moxy- 16:25, 9 March 2022 (UTC) reply

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have created an image gallery at bottom of the James Madison University page and moved selected images there including images that did not have have corresponding text in the same section as they appeared. Ideally the image gallery will be expanded and contain a collection of photos from the campus. I have created a section on the talk page for discussion at Talk:James Madison University#Moving of images and creating an image gallery. Gusfriend ( talk) 23:53, 11 March 2022 (UTC) reply

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled " Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Your recent page move at Washington, D.C., in the American Civil War

Hi,

I reverted your edit at Washington, D.C., in the American Civil War in which you removed the second comma from the title. The "D.C." in "Washington, D.C." is often a parenthetical, which means it must have a comma following it when words follow. Thanks for understanding. Hey there, I noticed you added some more photos to Alexander Ovechkin, but the captions you added appeared to be unsourced or original research. Specifically, I'm looking at:

  • Ovechkin gets heavy torque on his shots, which helps maximize velocity.
  • Ovechkin is known for his physicality on the ice.
  • Ovechkin is considered by many to be the greatest Russian player ever. (always gotta keep an eye on "many" as a possible weasel word, especially without citations)
