I noticed you made to edits to Pinniped. I reverted these edits because they were not supported in the article text (thw note at the top of the text does not count. The lede of a Wikipedia article is intended to be a summary of the contents of the text body. There is no mention of Infraorder in the body and, of course, no citation.
As it happens, Wikipedia has no article that explains why Infraorder exists. Wikipedia are pitched to a general audience who may need help in specialist terms and ideas. There seems to exist no article to link that might be helpful, just the nugget that 'infra' means 'under'. Here is a suggestion: try adding a sentence in the body that uses the term, with a clause that explains. You could also add a citation to a reliable source.
By the way, Pinniped is an article under Pending changes protection, likely because of persistent vandalism or edit-warring. These articles are patrolled.
