Justin Bieber update

Hi. Hope you are doing well. I noticed how, on the Justin Bieber article, you added that Bieber headlined the Homecoming Weekend on February 11, 2022.

Can you please add this information to the sentence right before that? On February 4, 2022, Bieber made a guest appearance on Beam's song, "Sundown", the seventh track from Beam's debut studio album, Alien.

Here is your source for that: https://www.hotnewhiphop.com/beam-shares-his-new-album-alien-ft-justin-bieber-jorja-smith-and-more-new-mixtape.122392.html (this source is also from and sourced in the lead of Beam's article for Alien as the first source and the source is from HotNewHipHop).

Hi 172.58.176.33, its done. Thanks for letting me know. -- Beemer03 ( talk) 09:01, 22 February 2022 (UTC) reply

@ Beemer03: one more favor to ask of you. On the Justin Bieber article, I need you to add this next sentence for his latest release. On March 4, 2022, Bieber released a collaboration with Omah Lay, " Attention". Here is your source for that: https://www.complex.com/music/omah-lay-justin-bieber-attention-video. Also, when you added the "Sundown" sentence you forgot to add the date (February 4, 2022), so I am reminding you to add it. Thank you and have a good spring break! 172.58.176.211 ( talk) 06:07, 4 March 2022 (UTC) reply

Hi 172.58.176.33. I actually planned to add this in today, thanks. Have a restful break! -- Beemer03 ( talk) 10:34, 5 March 2022 (UTC) reply
  • A further note about the Bieber article. There is nothing unethical or disrespectful about using a topless image for in infobox image—especially not when the subject has intentionally dressed that way for a public appearance. If you think the image should be changed, you'll need to start discussion at the talk page about that. — C.Fred ( talk) 13:40, 29 October 2022 (UTC) reply
I don't make the rules C.Fred, but it doesn't take an expert to understand basic human decency. If the subject decided to dress that way that does not mean we need to advocate that to the world, especially not in context to the subject's own biographical page. Secondly, I simply reverted the image back to the original that has stayed in-place for years. For your information, there was no discussion at the talk page to use the topless image either. So, I suggest you do that. Reverting it back to the original until a consensus has been reached on the talk page. - Beemer03 ( talk) 08:19, 31 October 2022 (UTC) reply
@ Beemer03: hey, hope you are doing well. I have a few updates for you on the Justin Bieber article for you to add:
  • On May 13, 2016, he was co-featured alongside Towkio on Chance the Rapper's song, "Juke Jam", from his third mixtape, Coloring Book.
  • On August 28, 2020, he was featured on Jaden's song, "Falling for You", from his third studio album, CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3.
  • Make sure to list the album that " Let It Go" by DJ Khaled appears on ( Khaled Khaled) and the song was actually released on April 30, 2021 (released as a single with a music video on May 10, 2021).
  • He is not featured on "What You See" with Migos, it is his collaboration with them as he is credited as a lead artist, and also add that the song was released on June 11, 2021 (take the link out because there is no link for that song).
  • On February 4, 2022, he made a guest appearance on Beam's debut studio album, Alien, on an album track titled "Sundown" (you previously added this, but later removed it).
  • You can link " Up at Night" as it now has an article (also please link it on the Kehlani article and the Blue Water Road article and add it to the templates of both Kehlani and Justin Bieber).
  • On April 27, 2022, he released the promotional single "I Feel Funny", which promoted "Honest" featuring Don Toliver (this song is mentioned).
  • "Beautiful Love" was released to streaming services on August 30, 2022.
  • Add the date that " Private Landing" was released (February 24, 2023) and add the other featured artist, Future, as he was co-featured on the song to help explain its meaning, and add that it was sent to rhythmic contemporary radio on March 14, 2023, as the fourth single from Love Sick.
  • Please add " Come Around Me" to the Justin Bieber template as the first song from the Changes section.

I know it seems like a lot and I am sorry to bother you, but I really appreciate this, so thank you so much! 99.71.209.242 ( talk) 01:31, 30 March 2023 (UTC) reply

@ Beemer03: hope you are doing well. I am coming to you to ask you to update the Justin Bieber article as he has been a part of some recent releases. Please add these sentences to the article:

On August 25, 2023, Bieber, along with Benny Blanco and actors Young Mazino and Woody McClain, played a lead starring role alongside in the music video for American singer-songwriter SZA's 2022 single, " Snooze", in which the four each played a different love interest of the latter. I am here to request you to update the Justin Bieber article as there are some new updates on what he has been up to recently. Please add these sentences to the article: reply

On February 1, 2024, Bieber performed a surprise six-song set at the Drake-owned music venue History in Toronto, his first solo performance after cancelling the remaining dates of his Justice World Tour due to health concerns. From February 1 to 3, he attended the National Hockey League (NHL) All-Star Weekend at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, where he served as a co-captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs with Auston Matthews and also played in a celebrity hockey game. Bieber's mentor, Usher, had previously asked him to join him to perform at the halftime show at Super Bowl LVIII at the Allegiant Stadium in Las, Vegas, Nevada, on February 11, 2024, but Bieber declined although he attended the game with his wife, Hailey.

Also, please add these sentences:

On November 11, 2022, Bieber performed an acoustic version of "Ghost" with a pianist at the funeral of American rapper Takeoff from the Migos at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. On January 14, 2023, Bieber and the Kid Laroi performed an acoustic version of "Stay" with a guitarist at the launch party for Michael D. Ratner's OBB Studios in Los Angeles, California, where Bieber also admitted that he forgot some of the words to the song while singing.

Tennis

Why are you insistent on the phrasing you have used on Federer? You have been in debates before on content, why? Extraordinary2 ( talk) 02:05, 31 January 2023 (UTC) reply

Firstly, you can start by writing in a polite and respectful tone. Curious to know if you consider "Federer along with Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal "are" the Big Three" a grammatically-correct sentence? I don't know what "debates" you are referring to but I only seek to contribute to pages in a meaningful way, I have no intention of ruining a subject's work. What I mentioned in my edit is factual and most, if not all, fans, sports pundits, writers, or people really, would feel the same way. Moreover, it is consistent with Nadal and Djokovic's individual pages and has remained in the lead for years in case you just noticed it. You can read more about the Big Three in their Wikipedia page. Beemer03 ( talk) 08:43, 31 January 2023 (UTC) reply
There's nothing impolite stated or implied. It isn't that they are or aren't dominating. The word choice is iffy. I know tennis. Glad you're wanting to both contribute and have meaningful material be disseminated. Extraordinary2 ( talk) 10:48, 31 January 2023 (UTC) reply

Could you please point out where in the cites it says something to support "Widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players in NBA history"? I've had an admittedly quick review of the cites, and I'm not seeing it. What I do see is MOS:WEASEL, which stands against using such terminology. Thanks, -- Hammersoft ( talk) 19:02, 21 June 2023 (UTC) reply

Hi Hammersoft, thanks for sharing. I realised that it was not explicitly mentioned earlier, so I have updated one of the refs. The new ref cites a CBS Sports article on Steph's legacy that specifies a part of the aforementioned terminology and elaborates on it. Hope this is feasible, thanks. Beemer03 ( talk) 20:50, 21 June 2023 (UTC) reply
"Widely" isn't a term I would use, but the ref improves things. -- Hammersoft ( talk) 01:03, 22 June 2023 (UTC) reply
Given the narrative pushed by the other refs and the CBS article as well, the term "widely" simply supports the prevailing wisdom in the NBA world. But removing it is also understandable. Beemer03 ( talk) 04:57, 22 June 2023 (UTC) reply
