Confirmed — users formally at 208.81.184.4 ( talk · contribs) are being migrated to 155.95.80.242 and soon all edits from 208.81.184.4 will cease. It's been fun, but everything has an adapt/transition/change/end eventually. -- 208.81.184.4 ( talk) 23:50, 23 July 2014 (UTC) reply
Actually there are several externally-facing IP addresses now: see User talk:155.95.80.242 for details. -- 155.95.80.241 ( talk) 16:23, 25 July 2014 (UTC) reply

Restricted editing from this IP address (from a wiki commons post)

Due to a change in company internet usage policy, people using this IP address can no longer be involved with any change on any Wikimedia project which might in any way be considered an expression of "personal opinions on political, social, inflammatory or volatile subjects". This is being interpreted very broadly, and as such, this essentially precludes editors from this IP from participating above the most basic WikiGnome level (e.g. typos, misspellings, minor formatting fixes). Sorry for this unexpected change, and thanks to everyone with whom editor(s) from this IP have worked with in the past. -- 208.81.184.4 22:39, 9 May 2012 (UTC) reply

We have to thank you all for your valuable contributions. I guess this change is related to the fact that Vangent now belongs to General Dynamics. Of course we regret to loose active contributors but we also appreciate WikiGnoming. If there is something we or I could do, don't hesitate to contact us/me. -- Rillke 11:09, 5 July 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.56.15.75 ( talk) reply

Finding constancy in naming of "Apostle" position

I have opened a discussion at List of members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (LDS Church) in order to find some constancy in naming. Before I accidentally impose my personal view, it would nice to have a real consensus of proper naming of "Apostle". Any input by you, as a frequent Latter Day Saint articles would be nice.--- ARTEST4ECHO( Talk)

An article that you have been involved in editing— The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England—has been proposed for merging with another article. If you are interested, please participate in the merger discussion. Thank you. Amgisseman(BYU) ( talk) 18:22, 1 September 2016 (UTC) reply

Vangent --> GDIT --> MAXIMUS

What was once Vangent, then purchased by GDIT, has now been split off and sold to MAXIMUS Inc. The Vangent IP ranges are being reused by MAXIMUS to manage the large piece of business that is being slowly integrated. So, in essence, I'm back (along with alot of other people that will be using IPs in this range). -- 208.81.184.11 ( talk) 22:46, 30 July 2019 (UTC) reply
