When closing the AfD, I looked at the article Hereford United F.C., and found that the link to the club's official site was dead. I have replaced it with a link to the new site, labelled "Official website of successor club Hereford F.C." Do you think that is the right thing to do, or should we remove the link altogether? There is no point leaving it as a deadlink.

The article List of Hereford F.C. players has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

List of almost exclusively non-notable footballers (who would not pass WP:NFOOTY) for a club that has never played in a fully professional league. Could possibly be a viable list later down the line, but at the moment, given the short history of the club there is currently little difference between this and the Current squad section of the club article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
