A tag has been placed on User:Spiritual Response Association/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from text contains copyright notice and no free license declared. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Just adding as I forgot to select the right box in Twinkle - I have updated the CSD tag to show both the above reason G12 and G11 (promotional content). BlAcKhAt9(9 ( talk) 23:51, 13 June 2016 (UTC) reply

Your username

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Spiritual Response Association", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, that complies with our username policy. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{ unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{ unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:28, 14 June 2016 (UTC) reply
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

In addition to the issues with advertising, your organization clearly does not meet notability guidelines. OhNoitsJamie Talk 19:49, 2 August 2016 (UTC) reply

@Jimfbleak put a note on our page. I feel as if I am in some circuitous maze. I have inherited this project and am unfamiliar with the workings of Wikipedia even after reading the help pages. I can find no place to "add to the bottom of the talk page" ... therefore, adding it here. if not correct please direct me to the appropriate place. Thank you.

We did not intent to use Wikipedia as a “selling site” for the Association. We wanted to bring to light this method of healing, in particular, as well as tell about the originator of this method, Rev. Robert E. Detzler. This method of healing is used in over 40 countries and by many thousands of people. As Robert passed in 2013, his works are co-administered by the Spiritual Response Association (which he founded) and his widow, Rev. Mary Ann Detzler. The topics we as the SRA wanted to share are what we directly administer.

The test article in the sandbox was an attempt to learn the Wikipedia system. It was written and copyright approved by our Executive Director, Rev. Kathleen A. Butler – a long time teacher of the SRT method. I realize (now) it does not follow the parameters set forth by Wikipedia. I thought it was a draft (scratcharea) for me to play with, I did not realize it would be

From my understanding of your notes, we need to more specifically speak of Robert and SRT the actual method rather than how the Association is attached to this knowledge. Is this correct?

Thank you for your time. This is a very important topic to share and I would like to do it appropriately.

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Spiritual Response Association/sandbox/Spiritual Response Therapy / Technique, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
