I know that this is a pain but please rate me and say what I need to work on etc. Also can you find some good groups for me to browse. Thanks for all your support! P.S. Take a look at my user page for information on what my interests are. It is similar to yours. I hope it is OK. Different color scheme though! ;) RED skunk TALK 04:31, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:PsycicLover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Please take a few moments and fill in the data for your bot on Wikipedia:Bots/Status Thank you Betacommand ( talk • contribs • Bot) 19:47, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
Check your archives. You have some messages. I added February to your archive list. Redskunk 23:47, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
I sure have been whacking a lot of vandals. I have 115 mainspace edits!!! RedSkunk 02:28, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
I've noticed you using a bot to fix double redirects. Is that its only ability? Does it only work on Wikipedia? I'm need of replacing a string text in Commons, which is too widely used for me to edit manually. It could be achieved but it's quite boring, so I'm wondering if your bot can do the trick, or if you know of any that may do it.
Also, I reckon they are run through Python/Perl. I've no way to run scripts in my office's computer, since I can't install any software here, so I'm kind of needing help in this department too.-- Saoshyant talk / contribs (please join WP:Portugal or WP:SPOKEN) 18:25, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
thank you! And sorry I haven't been on in a while... -- ~ D-Lord ( Sign!) ( T C E) 00:06, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
I've been doing some very tedious work replacing aero spec tags with aero specs tags. They are a redirect but in general it's not good to have tags redirect. Could you have ShakingBot do that? I just saw that there was a different request, so I thought I'd throw it out there. Now I have 250 mainspace edits! RedSkunk 16:46, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
How do you use your sig. Do you just copy paste it in or is there another way? RedSkunk 17:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
As a result of discussion on the village pump and mailing list, bots are now allowed to edit up to 15 times per minute. The following is the new text regarding bot edit rates from Wikipedia:Bot Policy:
Until new bots are accepted they should wait 30-60 seconds between edits, so as to not clog the recent changes list and user watchlists. After being accepted and a bureaucrat has marked them as a bot, they can edit at a much faster pace. Bots doing non-urgent tasks should edit approximately once every ten seconds, while bots who would benefit from faster editing may edit approximately once every every four seconds.
Also, to eliminate the need to spam the bot talk pages, please add Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard to your watchlist. Future messages which affect bot owners will be posted there. Thank you. -- Mets501 05:01, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

The Excellent User Page Award | |
For creating a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and easy-to-use user page design, and graciously raising the point when others were awarded for use of his design, I hereby present ShakingSpirit the Excellent User Page Award, with apologies for not recognizing his talents sooner. Hersfold ( talk/ work) |
I'm sorry, when I gave RedSkunk his, I did vaguely wonder if there was someone else I should be giving credit to as well... thank you for mentioning that, or I'm afraid I may have made the same mistake again. Hersfold ( talk| work) 13:01, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
I am kindly refusing the barnstar to my user page. It was all of your work after all. I have a new user page in development though :) And i've changed the background color. I should've checked. I assumed falsely that you had gotten the award too. I thought, "Oh well, I didn't do it but it's OK On another more sinister note how did you find out??? Red Skunk talk 00:52, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for taking care of those 2 articles I tagged for deletion; I wasn't sure what to do since the speedy deletion cat is backlogged by a few days. I also tagged Mathematician triathlon if you want to take a look at that. Thanks. -- BrokenSphere 04:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
