RFC will not work as it will entail the same biased and POV pushing users which are currently owning this article and preventing anything from going into the article to attempt to drag this article back to neutrality. As for 3O it would have to be somebody like you as anybody even in europe would be branded biassed in favour of the BNP and a racist if they attempted to modify the article in a way which was opposed to the owners views.-- Lucy-marie ( talk) 09:11, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
I would like to make clear that I do not want a Pro-BNP or an Anti-BNP page I simply want a page which conforms to all policies and guidelines and is most of all neutral in point of view.
There are number of concerns which I have for this article:
1. The overall tone of the article. The lead of the article is not objective It goes straight into talking of their electoral performance and people and points of vies which are anti-BNP. Such as by stating the party "believes there are "biological racial differences." No other lead goes straight in to talking about the policies of a party. It also only mentions they have a handful of seats or mentions elections where they won no seat. The lead does not contain that the party won a London assembly seat.
2. The lead is too long it should be three or four paragraph and not the seven it currently is.
3. The final paragraph of the lead is unnecessary.
4. The sources which are used particularly to support controversial statements such as a political position of Fascism are out of date and refer to the BNP under a different leadership to the current one. There are also numerous links to the 2005 manifesto which are no longer available, but an updated manifesto has been placed on the internet. The number of sources which are not verifiable online is also quite high, e.g. by quoting a block statement without providing where the statement can be located. This is demonstrated in reference 21 most. clearly.
5. Some sections which are anti-BNP e.g. the third paragraph of the Nick Griffin section contain no references at all.
6. There is no mention or link in the main body of the article to the historic BNP of the 1960s.
7. The large use of weasel words throughout the article such as "observers have suggested" and "some of whom" are found littering the article.
8. The Guardian's infiltration section, is the over use of a small piece by one media outlet that was not widely reported mainstream and is used to promote the BNP in a negative light in this article.
9. In depth analysis of only three policies, there needs to be a broader focus of all the policies and not a POV chosen three. The language contained is of a poor quality and contains POV phrasing "Sky News confronted the party's national press officer", The final paragraph of the racial policies section is just a quote.
10. The "Violence and Criminal Beheaviour" section is blatant POV as not even SInn Fein have a section on that.
This is just 10 points I could go on but I don't want to clog up your talk page. I hope this helps.-- Lucy-marie ( talk) 11:16, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

I am questioning why the link to www.franklincounty-pa.com has been removed from several entries. The site is devoted to the history, government and people of Franklin County, Pa. and yes, there is some advertising (the site has to get paid for somehow). It is a shame that has been removed, and yet other sites remain listed which are primarily advertising based (www.publicopiniononline.com). I just wanted to vent my frustration at the double-standard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Franklincounty-pa ( talk • contribs) 16:40, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

I recently uploaded a picture from flickr that was labeled as being Renovo, Pennsylvania, but I am pretty sure that it is South Renovo, Pennsylvania instead. A quick look at google earth seems to confirm this. It's been well over 10 years since I was even close to Renovo or South Renovo. Could you check and make sure I am correct? I will ask Finetooth too, who seems to be from or is familiar with Clinton County. Dincher ( talk) 21:07, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi Ruhrfisch. I'm not quite sure if you are the right person to ask, but since you have all those location map links on your page I thought you might have a answer to this question. I just discovered that the Geobox 2 for rivers can produce a automagical location map of the river's mouth, with a little dot on the appropriate state map. Impressed, I tried a few for some rivers in Washington and got expression errors. I think I traced the problem to the lack of a Template:Geobox locator Washington. I saw that such a template exists for Montana, Template:Geobox locator Montana, and successfully made Thompson River (Montana), with a locator map. Since I am quite clueless about how this magic works, I wondered if you had any ideas about why there isn't a Washington template. If I knew how to make one I'd do it myself, but this is all a bit technically mystical to me, so I ask. Thanks! Pfly ( talk) 08:02, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I just noticed that. I was looking over Taber's "Railroad Atlas of Pennsylvania" when you left the message. I'm having trouble identifying the locomotive; Taber says the JSPC&B itself didn't own any locomotives. The Fall Brook Coal Co. owned a #51, but that was a 2-6-0, and this looks to me like an 0-4-0, maybe a construction engine or switcher. The JSPC&B wasn't leased to the Fall Brook until 1884, so perhaps it is a New York Central engine. Choess ( talk) 01:45, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

The question has been asked. I have covered most of the areas on wiki that I am interested in adding too. I guess it's time to change direction and help to improve this deal. Of course I'll keep on working on Pennsylvania state parks and trying to get them up to FA, but other than that I am pretty much done adding new content. Why thanks! :). That's 10 for me so far, and 3 more in the spout. Quick question; you wouldn't know if there's a 25-DYK medal symbol for placing in the userpage header (similar to the admin one, for example). Hey Ruhr, I know your busy, and I know you did a copy edit many months ago on Bad Axe Massacre. I am thinking of going for FA with it and was wondering if you had any further suggestions (seeing as how you've been involved in our little collaboration since the beginning) for that attempt. Also, the only article on the battles that never got to GA was Attack at Ament's Cabin, I was angry when the review was done, and life was not good on wiki or off so I mostly ignored the review, was wondering if you had any thoughts on that old review or on the article itself. I was thinking about trying for a featured topic eventually, if Bad Axe passes FA and I can get the main article up to snuff. -- IvoShandor ( talk) 10:09, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello there. Sorry to cause another problem. When doing GA's and not Peer reviews, the GA wikiproject folks don't like the GA to consist of SAPR's, though IMHO they do show improvements which could also be done to the article. In the case of Omaha, there was a SAPR done a l-o-o-o-ng time ago, which is outdated, can a new SAPR replace, be added to or supplement the old one??? In the course of doing the GA, the ordering or timing I did things in found the old SAPR after I generated a new one. The peer review showed a SAPR at Omaha Nov 2007. In the future... I will check the article history timeline first before generating a new SAPR in the future, esp if peer reviews and SAPR's are related to each other. Oh my goodness! ...Kind Regards SriMesh | talk 04:59, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

I think it might be helpful for you to revisit this peer review. It appears that after you commented and Will Beback ( talk · contribs) addressed your points that the subsequent discussion has unfortunately degraded into a back-and-forth between editors involved in the article topic that haven't really given specific examples as to what to improve, the way you did in your initial comment. If you gave a comment about this that might help to either cease this non-constructive back-and-forth, and/or hopefully shift the discussion towards a positive dialogue about specific ways to further improve the article from its already high level of quality.
