Hallo Flyer,
Would it be okay if I place a link in the "see also" box reffering to another page dealing with the topics I wrote about in the section "weight & drug addiction"? I did not edit that one and it's about the trial in 2011. I'm not sure because it's not a page specifically about health. Thanks! Quaffel ( talk) 18:13, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
Hallo Huon, Hallo Flyer I mean a link to the wikipedia page Trial of Conrad Murray because it deals more detailed with the testimonies I quoted and those of other medical professionals. But I just saw that this article currently has multiple issues, so I decided not to do it even if it would be possible. Thank you for your support. Quaffel ( talk) 20:53, 7 May 2013 (UTC)

The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Michael Jackson's health and appearance". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 16 April 2014.
Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

The request for formal mediation concerning Michael Jackson's health and appearance, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Please direct questions relating to this request to the Chairman of the Committee, or to the mailing list. For more information on forms of dispute resolution, other than formal mediation, that are available, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,

Regarding this? No, it's not about you asking for help. See above, years ago, when I helped you? That was about help. Years later, you still don't know much about editing here. You chose to be a WP:Single purpose account and not edit much outside of the article in question, therefore stifling your growth as an editor here. You cannot expect experienced editors to keep helping you with any and everything when you are not helping yourself. Furthermore, helping you involves reverting you when you are wrong. When the more experienced editor tells you that you are wrong about a Wikipedia matter, you should listen. Not be stubborn and engage in a WP:Edit war. If you think I'm just going to let you do whatever you want at the article in question, think again. The rules are not with you. Flyer22 Reborn ( talk) 12:09, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
And regarding this, the WP:ONUS is on you. I do not have to keep bringing in other editors just to prove you wrong. You are supposed to be following the rules, rules you would know if you actually took the time to learn them or listen when editors tell you what they are. Hi @ Ninja Diannaa:,I apologise for my edits. I wasn't aware I was breaking the rules. Thanks for your advice. Quaffel ( talk) 14:22, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
Hi @ Ninja Diannaa:, One of the edits wasn't mine. I just moved it to another section. It has been in the artcle for a long time. Am I also responsable when I move something to another section? Do I have to check the edit before moving? Quaffel ( talk) 14:43, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
Hi @ Ninja Diannaa: I moved it within the article. On September 28, I copied it to the new section (death investigation) at 13.15. At 13.17 I deleted the moved part in the drug addiction section. The edit at 13.13 was actually when I created the new section. Why is that a violation? In my last edit on September 29, I removed something from the article that wasn't stated in the source. What's the problem with that? The edit summary? I just wanteed to point out what he really said and used a quote from the source. Quaffel ( talk) 15:10, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
@ Ninja Diannaa: Okay. Thank you! But why are the other edits grey as well? Quaffel ( talk) 15:46, 29 September 2021 (UTC) Okay, I think I found it out myself. Quaffel ( talk) 19:01, 29 September 2021 (UTC) @ Ninja Diannaa: I just read Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources and now I understand that my changes weren't extensive enough. Can I use the source when I write something about it in 2 or 3 sentenes in my own words? Or am I not allowed to use it again? Quaffel ( talk) 16:49, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Health and appearance of Michael Jackson, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. You cant just restore it to June 2021 Avi :D ( talk) 06:16, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
Mainly I'm reverting myself. Almost everything since then was written by me. Some edits were made to fix my errors. There's currently a GAR about this and my edits waren't appreciated. I'm just restoring the last good version. Quaffel ( talk) 06:26, 12 February 2022 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in Michael Jackson. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |
Please keep in mind that editing articles about Michael Jackson is a privilege, not a right. The community's patience for disruption/drama in this area was exhausted several years ago. NinjaRobotPirate ( talk) 15:30, 30 January 2023 (UTC) I never thought it's a right. Quaffel ( talk) 18:50, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
