Hello, I'm
Geardona. I noticed that you recently
removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate
edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use
your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on
my talk page. Thanks.

Hi, I removed the background information because it was not relevant to the 2016 presidential election in Iowa. It might be relevant to the national election page, but including background about previous national elections is confusing for a page about a particular state. I think readers would wonder how this information relates to Iowa.

If the issue is that I didn't cite the dates of the caucuses, I can add a citation or remove that sentence, but I figured it was unnecessary because the dates are cited later in the section.
