Hi, when you want to use a fair use image in an article, you have to upload it to Wikipedia, not Commons. The cover art on All-of-a-Kind Family has been deleted at Commons. You can upload it instead to Wikipedia starting here: Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard. Schazjmd (talk) 16:38, 4 May 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading
File:Nat Falk How to Make Animated Cartoons-1941.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. (to require that you be credited), or any tag
here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Thanks for uploading File:Une-femme-nommee-rachid-cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- B-bot ( talk) 03:59, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
On 29 January 2021, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Zéna M'Déré, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Zéna M'Déré led a protest movement in Mayotte in which women tickled their political opponents, forcing them to comply with their demands? You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page ( here's how, Zéna M'Déré), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (ie, 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Thank you for quality articles about women writers and activists of the world and their work, from All-of-a-Kind Family via Myrna Manzanares and Alice Mogwe to Zéna M'Déré, often translated, for collaboration such as Glorioso Islands Marine Natural Park, for copy-editing, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

I came across this article: Mutinta Mazoka & observed that it states she intends to be a member of the Zimbabwean national assembly but after a google search on her I found a source that indicated that she is already a member of the national assembly or at some point had been a member. I’m a tad bit confused, How accurate is that piece of information? Or perhaps do you think the source makes reference to her mother who has an identical name as she does? Hello, Bookworm-ce
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Dan arndt, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Pepete, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.
If you wish to contest the deletion:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dan arndt}}

An article you recently created,
Caroline Machoro, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to
draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's
general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.

An article you recently created,
Nora Koh, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from
reliable,
independent sources in order to show it meets
WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia).

Women in Red 8th Anniversary |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary! Join us for some virtual cake and add comments or memories and please keep on editing to close the gap! |

Hi. No problem on the revert. I was working to diffuse the overpopulated CUNY category, but do understand your revert due to refs. I'll bypass that one. Semper fi! FieldMarine ( talk) 19:31, 4 August 2023 (UTC)
Thanks! I think CCNY is right as she did list it in her LinkedIn page. Semper Fi! FieldMarine ( talk) 12:05, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
Hi, I saw this and wanted to know if you took a photo of the entire building. The embassy reopens this week and my most recent photo is when it was still under construction. APK whisper in my ear 04:30, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
On 13 August 2023, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Dorothy Casterline, which you updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. PFHLai ( talk) 12:29, 13 August 2023 (UTC)

Hello, Bookworm-ce. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, " Nora Koh".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. ✗ plicit 14:07, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review
the candidates and submit your choices on the
voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{
