I do not edit regularly anymore. I changed my major and am in my junior year of college, so I'm becoming busier by the day. I'm sorry if I don't get back to you right away. Please know I will respond eventually.
Please start a new section at the bottom of the page by clicking the [+] above,
sign your posts using four tildes (~~~~), and respect
talk page guidelines.
I will respond both here and on your talk page unless you specify otherwise. Thanks!
Hi! Just saw your edit and I thought I'd let you know that you're right, philosopher's is what we use. The general rule is go with the spelling variant of the country that the article is best associated with and if there is no particular association, e.g. Blue, just leave it as you find it. Happy editing! asyndeton talk 01:55, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
I'd be more than happy to help you out in any way you'd like! Just let me know if you have any questions. You can message me on my talk page, or email me (my address is on my user page). Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you; it's been kind of a wild week. :-) Good to have you! =David( talk)( contribs) 02:22, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
While, in theory, I have no objection to your doing this, there has been an attempt by the Wiki Opera Group to create a standard of consistantacy across the board for all arricle (e.g. no boxes, layout of first performance casts, layout of selected recordings box, etc.
So, allowing your changes to stand, might mean that every opera article would need to be changed to match. I won't change anything now, but let's see what happens. Viva-Verdi ( talk) 19:38, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Can you tell me why did you reverted the text to previous version without explaining what you were doing ? Though I admit I neglected to put in an edit summary for my revision, I had explained what I was doing on the discussion page (and my change was endorsed by zzuuuzz who also knows about UK censuses). Regards. Jonesey
Please refrain from advising me on how to edit on Wikipedia unless you are an administrator or can provide evidence that your rule is more than an opinion. I am well aware of the differences between British English and American English. As I don't see a rule instructing me otherwise, I will continue to edit as I see fit. If, however, you are an official administrator or can provide evidence that your advice is Wikipedia standard, then I will of course submit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sblachly ( talk • contribs) 17:45, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
Where can I find a special Wikipedia page which explains what you told me a few days ago about how language differences (such as those between British and American English) should be kept in line with the country the article's subject is most closely affiliated with? (I need to share it with someone who thinks this is just my opinion.) (: Thanks! AshleyScripter talkback| contribs 20:36, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
I have made changes to the article. If you would like to look it over I would appreciate it. If I still have something that is not correct please edit it. Thank you Bill James TTCops —Preceding unsigned comment added by TTCops ( talk • contribs) 19:01, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
I changed LU's page back to including the Liberty Way. If sports, entertainment, and extracurricular activities can be listed on the page, so can the policies. I am an LU alumni and feel that it is important for people to know the schools policies. ~

Thanks a lot AshleyScripter for your encouragement you sent on my IP on 21:34, 6 March 2008. I have created an id here with which I am responding now. I'm fan of the series myself (I was actually trying editing on Deatheaters page when I saw the message) and I'll try my best in the future also to make any contribution which I might feel helpful and reasonable. Hello, my name is Kyle Hardin and this message is in reference to your removal of my name form the adoption list. I am an active user (or, rather, would like to learn how to be) and I've been watching my name on the adoption list for some time now. I requested adoption because I'm very new at editing web content, such as Wikipedia, and need instruction on how to do so, before I attempt anything. Quite honestly, I don't even know where to begin. I had hoped to be adopted by an experienced user, so that I may learn the basics of how to edit and maintain the Wikipedia content. I realize you meant well, and I hope that I haven't done anything faux pas in putting my name on the adoption list to begin with. I would appreciate any instruction as to what to do in this situation, and any help you can give would be appreciated. Thank you for your time Specter ( talk) 18:46, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for leaving me a message. I am pretty new to editing Wikipedia, but I have been reading it for several years. I "stole" two of your userboxes that I thought were funny. Hope you don't mind! -- Andrew from NC ( talk) 00:47, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. You seem to be learning the ropes pretty well. Would you still like to be adopted by an experienced editor? -- Gimme danger ( talk) 19:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
I did not know how else to respond to your message; with that said, I apologize, in advance, if I am not using this page by its correct guidelines.
Honestly, I do not know how it is "vandalism" when anyone is able to legally change anything they want on this website. I also did not write anything that was even remotely untrue, nor did I intend for it to be anything more than a simple joke. It is pretty sad that you spend so much time on Wikipedia- an untrustworthy site which is not even considered to be a proper educational source- don't you have a few better things to do? Honestly?!

Hey, quick fyi on date formatting. Only wikilink complete dates (day month and year) and not individual years. The purpose of linking dates is not for cross-reference, but rather so that readers can view dates according to their preferences. For more info, see MOS:UNLINKYEARS. (Arg, I'm not even supposed to be here, but I wanted to see how you are doing. Great anti-vandal work and bravo for wading into regional English styles messes.) -- Gimme danger ( talk) 05:53, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

I saw the warnings you placed on the talk page of 204.69.139.16. It seems that the edits you refer to are restructuring, rather than vandalism. I really lack the expertise to judge whether it's better before or after. If it is your considered opinion that the edits in question are unconstructive, then please discuss in more detail. In any case I agree with you that it's really important to get this article right, because of this. 69.140.152.55 ( talk) 00:33, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

I see you were listed as a participant in the League of Copy-Editors so it seems likely. The thing is the Military history wikiproject urgently needs prose pros to help with our best articles. Milhist covers a broad range of interesting and varied subjects from film to biography, battles to weaponry, and Roman emperors to twentieth-century dictators. In Milhist, A-Class has become the last port of call before FAC and we are looking for people to help identify prose and MoS issues at A-Class A-Class Reviews and help fix them prior to featured article candidacy. We also have a copy-editing section in our Logistics Dept and that can always use experienced copy-editors. For most of our articles, you don't need to be a specialist in the subject matter, just good with words.
If you think you can help, please do! Thanks for your time, -- ROGER DAVIES talk 08:25, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
