A tag has been placed on Andreas Löschel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Sorry, but this is a misunderstanding of both copyright and plagiarism. Wikipedia does not permit the inclusion of material subject to full copyright; such material can be included if the copyright holder provides an explicit permission statement for the material. That statement must be included on the website or filed with OTRS and must comply with our requirements for free licenses. I can provide more details, if requested, but I haven't bothered because it is extremely rare to arrange for permissions of text (as contrasted to the image permissions which are quite common). The simple statement that the person (presumably the copyright holder) knows about it is not close to adequate. Second, it is not the case that copying career and education fail to be violations of plagiarism. It is almost always the case that they can be paraphrased (and not closely paraphrased which is still a copyright violation). A noncreative list of publications is tougher to paraphrase and typically accepted, but there are many ways to write about the career and education of an individual without using the exact words.-- S Philbrick (Talk) 16:21, 10 July 2017 (UTC) reply
