What do they call you?
Kate.
Isn't that a bit of a girls name?

Oh..it's..eh... short for... Bob!

I go by Kateshortforbob all over the Internet; I answer to Kate, although it isn't my real-life name. I've been a member of Wikipedia since Autumn 2006, but I must have gotten distracted by something shiny, because I didn't begin editing for real until July 2007. I've now racked up 8000ish edits and I'm on Wikipedia most days. My main project is categorising articles which have no categories at present, which is cool because I get to read lots of new articles, identify articles I want to work on and tag articles for attention or deletion if necessary. I also try to take some photos for articles which have none. On 17 July 2009, I became an administrator on the English Wikipedia. If I get stuff wrong (and I will) or you just want a word, come talk to me. (Additionally, if I've screwed up the design of the page or it's giving you accessibility problems, let me know and I'll try to fix it.)

When he offers me the swords, I kick him in the nuts and you set fire to the building.

Cross me and you’ll soon discover that under this playful boyish exterior, beats the heart of a ruthless, sadistic maniac.

Let me put it another way, Bob, you are a girl! And you are a girl with as much talent for disguise as a giraffe in dark glasses trying to get into a polar bears-only golf club.
