Feels like he was meant to grow up in a different technological age

This user feels like he was supposed to be in a different technological generation. He is can definitely fit in with his present technological age group but has always believed he would be more comfortable in an older technological age. Technology now is almost to a point of nonsense in certain aspects. For example, the whole idea of transferring from flip phone cellular phones to unprotected and large touch screen models upsets this user. Don't get him wrong he loves the idea of texting and calling at the touch of a button rather than means such as mailing letters. He also gets upset at people's reliance to technology but at the same time is guilty it himself. Cell phones are huge in this modern world and have done more good than bad through their ability to help with social, work, and emergency communication. At the same time that technology has made life easier, it has also made humans struggle when it is not available. As stated above this user has an average skill level with computers, internet, and other technology so don't expect too much knowledge in the areas. If Microsoft Offices, you tube, email, texting, or Facebook are involved then bring it on!

Wikipedia Controversy of Reliability

Wikipedia has become a great source of information but has also been questioned for reliability. This user never used Wikipedia for school work in the past because teachers did not believe it to be a reliable source. He did not know any better but to agree until he had a college project to make a Wikipedia article. Through the creation of the article and researching other articles the user learns that it is reliable because of all the citations needed. Although any user can edit information on Wikipedia, it can still be accurate if the bots and officials are doing their jobs. This user does know and has experienced people changing or adding wrong information to Wikipedia articles also but eventually they do get revised. The people on contributing to it can be anyone which causes some good and bad results. When an uneducated person for the subject states something it can cause the Wikipedia geeks to go nuts and give it a bad name. A good Factor to open editing is that people can cooperate on ideas. Like they say, "Two minds are better than one!" Probably the coolest part about Wikipedia to this user is that it has no restrictions on subjects, anything and everything is allowed. Whenever he Google searches almost anything it will pop up as the first or second link and usually is a quick and easy source of information. Wikipedia has a while to go before it is respected by the majority but it is making progress and this user supports it more the more he uses it.

This user is an English speaker and writer. He knows enough Spanish to order off of a menu at a Mexican restaurant but that is about it and wouldn't ever mess with the different languages on Wikipedia.

Warning

This user does not appreciate people messing with him over his work on Wikipedia just because he is a new user. He hates the fact that people only have guts on the internet but would be too scared to say anything in person. When someone is to edit his articles he will not mind but would like a heads up also and if someone completely destroys his work... Well we will just say he believes in Karma haha.
