I am going to be a bit busy in other areas for the next few days; I borrowed some books from the library, and I would like to "mine" those books before I return them. There are also some "older" village-articles I srsy want to expand, like Balad ash-Sheikh. In other words; may I ask; pls don´t start expanding a -48-village in the next week or so, at least if you expect me to join in? ;P (LOL! Watchlist the currently redlinked Wikipedia:WikiProject Intertranswiki/Danish/Missing articles page - I've moved the program onto an unused server system away from my house and I'm just leaving it to run overnight. If it succeeds, I'll try kicking off one a day (overnight) and then set off one of the huge wikis over a weekend - like de perhaps (gulp!). Yay! As for the regional map, I can't easily remove it for just one federal subject (that'll require quite some tweaking) and I am hesitant to remove it altogether, because there are ups and downs to both approaches (having a separate regional map or relying on the globe). I'll see what I can do, though, because if both locators are combined into one, it makes absolutely no sense to have a separate regional map; and you are right, the shorter we can make this box, the better.
I will probably try tweaking the infobox in such a way that it only displays one map when a combined locator (such as the one you are trying to get for Kaliningrad Oblast) is available and two when no such locator is available. It'll be automated; we'll just need to be updating the lookup subtemplate as new combined locators become available. Might take a while though. Would that be an acceptable compromise to you?— Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • ( yo?); 16:15, November 2, 2009 (UTC)

Hey Blof. I need your help here. A user starts creating a section titled "Age controversy" to Mallika Sherawat's article. All the sources he cites are not reliable (remember santabanta?!). Secondly, a section like this is totally unencyclopedic. She claims she was born in 1981 and that's what reliable sources also write. Any other thing would be breaking her privacy. Well if the military history project requested a specific target for Fritz to create a seperate list for I'm sure he could do that at a later date.., at present though we don't want to complicate things and create all sorts of thematic lists. Also look at the de (Lhokha (tib.: lho kha, tibetisch: ལྷོ་ཁ་ས་ཁུལ, Shannan) ) and sv (Lhoka, även känd som Shannan, ) articles. It does seem this is not just a whim. It should be sorted at the article talk page and then moved to the preferred location. Rich Farmbrough, 19:56, 17 November 2009 (UTC).
As of this moment the 8100 articles transcluding {{ Infobox Italian comune}} exactly matches List of Italian communes (2009). It took a few months, but my first two passes are now complete. I wrote a PerlWikipedia script to translate infoboxes from the Italian wikipedia and paste them into the articles missing infoboxes, so the process was relatively painless (just a bit slow to complete). Hi, Ecuador is great! I am living in Cuenca now and taking some Spanish classes, though in truth I'm not sure exactly how useful they are. I guess it's good to make sure I'm speaking Spanish for at least a couple hours a day. I speak English with my gringa friends here generally, and some of my Cuencano friends speak English better than I speak Spanish so we slip into English sometimes. I do think my Spanish has gotten better since arriving though. I'm basically functional and only occasionally get frustrated by not being able to say something I want to say...
Somehow even though I only have 10 hrs of classes per week, I manage to fill my days up by doing museums in the morning and going out way too much at night. Here the weekends start on Wednesday. Last weekend, come Sunday night (after partying hard four days in a row), I felt like death. Hopefully this weekend will be a little more low-key. My neighbor in the hostal who is from an indigenous community nearby has invited me to go to his village and some other nearby village that is having a fiesta. Hopefully that should be really fun and a little less tiring!
I have tons of photos from museums here I need to upload, but the internet is pretty slow. Evidently there aren't fiber optic cables to Ecuador yet so that's why it sucks. Another article to write, Internet in Ecuador. There are so many! I also need to write something about the drought that's been going on here. There have been rolling blackouts for a few weeks now across the country because there isn't enough water in the dams. Not having power gets a little old. Hope all is well! Thanks for uploading File:Vivian Rich.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You didn't do this, and you can't have your cake and eat it: if you want to expand the remaining parts of the article go ahead, but you did request us to do it, and we were surprised – to put it nicely – that you had removed these tags when we were just taking a couple of days' break to have some real life.{{

Just the Hungarian sticks through a bit into the English, it doesn't run very naturally to my eye.Hi Himalayan, what a surprise to find our paths meet again. I was doing some cleanup work in museum categories, when I discovered some of your stubbing work in Greek museums. After much searching I came to the conclusion that most of the following topics have been pronounced as museums for the first time in Wikipedia. If you wish to check on my notability determining method, here is the work page: User:Hoverfish/Sandbox. One more member of WP Museums is helping develop stubs that are worth developing. Anyway, here is the first batch, all for speedy A3, with the additional characteristics that most were found to be not museums and of low importance even as non-museum items. The rest are way too unimportant, and sufficient information to build even a basic stub is not available in the internet.
Sorry for the loss of editing time, but I reassure you I spent more time searching for information than you did creating the stubs. So what the heck. Anyway, any suggestions on my cleanup work are welcome, as I have lots to do still, hopefully with few rejects. Cheers. Hoverfish Talk 17:41, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
I had a look at your DYK page. It's really great work you did! I am all for developing articles and not glad to delete anything that has even a slight chance of growing. The round I did was to get the very impossible topics out so I can make a priority list, based on which we can start developing. I noticed that a new participant usually starts alphabetically, and bumping on a couple of impossible ones, with time spent to find almost nothing is enough to discourage him. So I'm checking with all official pages, tourist guides and what not to bring the most important ones up top in the list. But as you remember I'm also for small things, provided we can develop them. Another issue: a few I noticed you mentioned as museums are actually a part of an existing museum, in which case I might suggest a merge if there is not enough material. But there are some that can be developed though not as a museum. The Delta House Museum is not a museum, but houses the Historical Archives Department of the Benaki Museum and according to the official site it is part of the Benaki Museum. Yet by itself, as "The Delta house" or "The Delta mansion", it is an architectural notable building, which connects with the biography of Penelope Delta. So in this case it would be best to move to a title without "museum" and develop it for what it is by itself. Anyway, when I am done with setting up a priority list, I will let you know. Don't worry so much about the archeology as they are bound to be developed soon. They are all notable by definition. My only concern is about some of the minor folk museums. I have lived in the countryside and know Argalasti and some other villages in Pilion, and therefore I know from personal experience that these "museums" are just a room in the city hall or primary school where they have a few old but common items. It's really just a way of getting some pennies from the government, which is fine by me, except I have rarely seen a tourist interested to look in there. Doubtlessly there are also some worth mentioning, so I am extra careful in this lot. Hoverfish Talk 18:57, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi, if you zoom into Google Earth 39°40′30″N 20°51′35″E / 39.67500°N 20.85972°E, you see the famous Kastro Ioanninon (=Castle, not related to Fidel). Here is a map to help with what you see in Google Earth: [10]. There are two "acropolis" (fortresses), one on the NE part, where the famous Aslan Pasha Mosque is situated (#2 in map). In the SΕ fortress are the Fetihie Mosque (#18), the Tomb of Ali Pasha (#19) and the Byzantine Museum of Ioannina (#20) (see to the right of the Fetihie mosque). There are also other structures in the Kastro, West of the NE fortress, one of which is the Soufari Sarai (#28) and the Turkish library (#27). The Soufari was denied deletion, though I am absolutely positive that the only notable museum in the Kastro is the Byzantine one [11]. My suggestion is to move the page to Soufari Sarai and let it for any future use on "historic buildings", or any such direction. What do you think? Hoverfish Talk 11:31, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Latest update. Here I found an article stating that there are three museums in the Kastro [12]: one is the "Byzantine Museum of Ioannina", one is the "Municipal Ethnographic Museum of Ioannina", inside the Aslan mosque and one opposite to the mosque, the "Museum of Fotis Rapakousis" for weapons, coins and other items. The Soufari appears here to be only a historic building. Hoverfish Talk 13:26, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Also I noticed you have created a DYK nom with Nvvchar about a Ladakhi monastery. I and Nvvchar have collaborated on DYK articles in the past. We (Nvvchar, you and me) can come together and create DYKs. I have identified some candidates:
I do have photos for the same. -- Redtigerxyz Talk 15:38, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
Hi, you removed the PROD from this article saying that there were plenty of sources to show notability - and yet you haven't added any. Do you wish to do so to cement notability; if not I'm going to take it to AfD. Regards, Giant Snowman 19:48, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Take it to AFD if you must. He is a notable Chinese businessman. Himalayan 11:37, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi! Welcome back. I had started this article at the suggestion of User:Redtigerxyz for a special occassion posting in January 2010. Anyway, since you have copy edited and posted it already it is fine. Plasse see Redtiger's suggestions on my talk page to work om Monastery articles (he has suggested three) with us jointly. You may like to send him a message. Did you see the draft article at User:Nvvchar/sandbox/Tungnath? It is complete from my end. You may like to shift it to mainspace and post it as a joint article. I am working on Kathmandu article expansion. I will do it after I go back to India early next month.
As you may have realised by now, I am not too very conversant with the computer software, which some times causes difficulty in editing. At my age, I can't learn the softwares involved in editing. I now find that my archive software on my talk page has stopped functioning. Earlier, Nichalp had helped me archive my user page. Can you help me now please? Thanks.-- Nvvchar ( talk) 20:10, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
Thank you, it's a great honour since I began to edit here not so long ago. Grenouille vert ( talk) 16:34, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Not sure if I'll be able to do anything with this for you any time soon; I had to uninstall it last night because it was giving my computer some problems. I'm going to reinstall...tomorrow, probably, as I'll be out tonight. We'll see if that helps matters at all. -- Ser Amantio di Nicolao Che dicono a Signa?
