- 1730 –
Akinfiy Demidov brought 200 peasants to build the plant (accepted date for the foundation of Barnaul).

- 1746 – the first mention of the first street of the future city (Ryapasovskaya or Ryaposovskaya).

Demidovsky Pillar was installed.
