The Wyatt Sicks (stylized as Wyatt Sick6) is an American professional wrestling stable performing in WWE on the Raw brand. The group is currently composed of Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, and Joe Gacy. Rowan, Lumis, Cross, and Gacy all portray characters based on puppets from Bray Wyatt's "Firefly Funhouse" children's show gimmick (Ramblin' Rabbit, Mercy the Buzzard, Abby the Witch, and Huskus the Pig Boy, respectively).

The group is an homage/successor to The Wyatt Family, in which Rowan was also a member. [1]

History

Formation

After the return of Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules in 2022, he was accompanied by a character who Wyatt identified as "Uncle Howdy".

Wyatt began feuding with LA Knight shortly thereafter, which led to a match at the Royal Rumble. After Wyatt's victory, Uncle Howdy performed a diving splash on Knight through the stage. After the end of his feud with Knight, Wyatt began a storyline with Bobby Lashley heading to WrestleMania 39, but Wyatt quietly disappeared from television afterward and his storyline with Lashley was dropped, with reports later indicating that it was due to Wyatt dealing with a real-life illness.

On August 19, 2023, it was reported that after battling a life-threatening illness since February, Wyatt was closing in on a return. However, on August 24, Wyatt died unexpectedly at the age of 36. After Wyatt's death, Uncle Howdy was removed from WWE programming and storylines.

At the beginning of 2024, WWE began airing short vignettes at live events and during commercial breaks of televised shows, while QR codes were also hidden in various locations on episodes of Raw and SmackDown. Each code led to websites containing imagery, minigames, and riddles that vaguely referenced the return of Uncle Howdy, in addition to his "family."

At the end of the June 17, 2024, episode of Raw, The Wyatt Sicks made their debut. They attacked numerous unnamed WWE backstage staff as well as Chad Gable, who was seen bloodied with a wound on his forehead. [2]
