I think there were European explorations during many periods in the history of Tibet, not only during the rule of the Manchu Qing Empire. So I have moved it to the "See also" section. -- Evecurid ( talk) 14:37, 10 March 2015 (UTC) reply

I have added or changed to "Yuan rule" and "Qing rule" since these will be consistent with the actual article titles, i.e. Tibet under Yuan rule and Tibet under Qing rule. Thanks! -- Cartakes ( talk) 22:55, 12 September 2015 (UTC) reply
