Lineage

The reason for the lineage section is unclear. Since she didn't marry, these can't be her descendants. If they are her ancestors, the citations should connect them with her, which they don't. Yoninah ( talk) 23:09, 24 September 2017 (UTC) reply

they are ancestors, uncles, cousins, the connection is the father, the reason is to give the cultural contests, the Bernays lived in a sort of St. Louis's compound and maintained a tight bond with their German's relatives. Elisa.rolle ( talk) 23:33, 24 September 2017 (UTC) reply
That connection and reason is completely unclear from the article; you don't even mention it. Unless you can provide cites that link each of them to Thekla, I'm afraid they will be deleted. Perhaps you should write an article about the father and put them there. Yoninah ( talk) 23:35, 24 September 2017 (UTC) reply
you deleted the reference to the grandfather, I readded it. Elisa.rolle ( talk) 23:41, 24 September 2017 (UTC) reply

Images

they are two different paintings both owned by Bernays: "She owned the The Adoration of the Shepherds by Francesco Bassano the Younger, which she lent to the City Art Museum, Toronto; it is now at the North Carolina Museum of Art.[1st image] She also owned Leandro Bassano's version of The Adoration of the Shepherds, which she would eventually gift to the Brooklyn Museum; the museum sold it in 2013 through Sotheby's.[2nd image]" moreover, it's important that, while she gifted it to a museum, the museum sold it... -- Elisa.rolle ( talk) 12:44, 25 September 2017 (UTC) reply
Oh, now I see. The artists have the same last names, so I thought they were the same person. I edited the captions and added links to each artist to make it clear. Thanks, Yoninah ( talk) 14:00, 25 September 2017 (UTC) reply
