Is vs Was

I think the article should still be in "Is" tense, although i don't know about WP Music policies, these are links that deal with movies/tv articles:

I'm not sure how applicable those discussions are, since they refer to fictional works. In music articles, we tend to use the past tense once the band has broken up: See The Beatles, or (FA-class articles) The Supremes or Sly & the Family Stone.
