It was a surprise to find that this article did not exist, so I established it. However, it really needs, and has the potential for, more expansion. I just deleted most of the Culture section of this article--it consisted almost entirely of promotional material. If someone has an issue with my deleting the material, I'd be happy to discuss it. In addition to violating Wikipedia policy on promotional edits, though, I found it saddening to see the culture of my home region characterized solely by tourist attractions. I'd love to see the section filled out with info on the region's ties with Appalachia--there's a significant folk/blues music scene, for example, and Roanoke has a pretty unique culture of its own that might merit a mention. Help would be greatly appreciated, as I don't know whether I'll have significant time to devote to it anytime soon. Liv ^* 05:11, 12 February 2018 (UTC) reply

The City and Town table was (and likely still is) missing some cities and towns. It was a hardcoded bear to add a town. I converted the table into a sort table but now is quite long. Do we need to list towns of Southwest Virginia? Maybe just cities and counties?

Edit: OK, I just did not like the very long sort table, so I changed to multi-column lists. Again, have not edited the existing data; merely rearranging the look. I'm also interested in clearing up or cleaning up the existing definitions of Southwest Virginia and intend to revisit this. Note that I'm not trying to define or redefine; rather, make the existing definitions clearer.
