He became radicalized as he questioned authority and established values.
Sincere and deeply- held beliefs would not let him participate in the killing of others just because he was ordered to, or for any other reason.
He learned the life changing lesson at 21 years of age that he could face-up to and fight 'city hall'... and win!
What was this guy famous for, again? Why does he have an article? Could someone please list verifiable sources for any of this? - David Gerard 03:40, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)
As far as I can see, the article states why Roger Christie is famous. Anyone with a brain can do a google search on "Roger Christie" and " THC Ministry" and find "verifiable sources" with a few mouseclicks btw.

Is the founder of a globally represented religion (in more than 40 countries) worth mentioning in an encyclopedia? Or is it only "certain" religious leaders and "certain" religions "worth" mentioning?

HEy folks - I'm at work, doing some research, but I wanted to let you know that there's an important and interesting legal issue missing from this article: the RFRA claim that federal enforcement of drug laws is infringing on his religious freedom, which (to my knowledge) he is still appealing.
