I'm trying to find the NBC Sports logo circa 1986-1989. It was an all dark red version of the six feathered peacock (with the exception of the white body of the bird) logo that was introduced in 1986. TMC1982
Can someone find a better picture, as it is rather difficult to see the logo on the current image?

As a point of reference the official name of the division is NBC Sports and Olympics, Inc. and Dick Ebersol is the Chairman of the Board of NBCS&O per the NBC Universal corporate website. Who had the rights to the Ryder Cup before NBC obtained them in 1991? I think XFL should not be listed as part of NBC Sports former properties, since XFL coverage was never branded as such. I don't think any on-air personnel from NBC Sports ever took part. DH85868993: These are four recently created articles on NBC's F1 coverage. For some of these the creator of the articles even invented a name for the program (there is no such program as "Formula One on NBC"). These parts of NBC's F1 coverage are not that important that they warrant a standalone article each. All that is worth mentioning on NBC's coverage of the sport can easily be added to the already existing Formula One section in this article. After al Wikipedia is not a TV Guide. A similar article was created for "F1 on BBC" and it was merged into
BBC Sport.

- This is NBC Sports article. It deals with all the sports coverage of NBC. There already is a section on the Formula One in this article and it can easily house all the information on NBC's sport coverage. Lastly there is no Tv program called "Formula One on NBC", so it's nonsense to have an article on one.

And that would still be inadequate compared to a separate article. Also, I don't think that I quite understand your last point. You're saying that "Formula 1 on NBC" isn't used on air, is that right? I mean, NBC's coverage of F1 pretty factually exists, whether it uses that title or not.

To try to clarify...Is there an actual programme called Formula One on NBC or is it being used as an umbrella name for NBC's coverage? If the latter, if it were warranted, it could be used as the name of an article covering all NBC's F1 output. - No there is no actual program called "Formula One on NBC" (I don't know how I can spell it any clearer for user Khan singh. NBC does not broadcast a show called "Formula One on NBC". In fact, they don't use that title in any way) nor is that title even used an umbrella name for their F1 coverage. It's a complete invented title by the user who created the article, just like they did when they created the BBC article. - I believe what Rowde was trying to do was create an article about the history of F1 coverage on NBC...however, he's confused things, as ever, due to the italicised (& inaccurate) title and the wording of the lead, which can easily be interpreted as referring to an actual broadcast programme. If an article were warranted, which I agree it isn't and all should be merged, it could be a useful portmanteau title to include all NBC F1 output, but without he italics and the implication that it exists as a broadcast entity. Coverage details, such as which races are on which channel, are not notable to that history and wouldn't belong here. As for the title, there was never actually a program called Major League Baseball on NBC, but for simplicity's sake, all of baseball's iterations on the network are collected at
Major League Baseball on NBC. Of course, I don't think that F1 is as significant to the history of NBC as baseball by any stretch. I don't even know that F1 on NBC is notable enough to have its own article. If it isn't, it should be deleted altogether. That's my opinion. Consolidate the other three articles into
Formula One on NBC or delete all four of them, but merging them here makes no sense.

- I think you don't really have an idea of what the results of merger are. You seem to be convinced that we would copy the entirety of all four articles and then paste all of that here. That's not even remotely the case. In this case the four articles would be reduced to redirects to this article and if any content from them is reusable it would be added here. Looking at the four articles, actually next to nothing would be worth keeping. We would be merely adding one sentence here. I don't really see why you would so fiercely object that. Lastly if NBC does not use the Major League Baseball on NBC title, then why does
the article claim they do use that branding?
