I'm a member in good standing of Habonim Dror, a labor zionist organization. There should be info on this page about organizations like this. - -- 68.235.169.11 00:41, 26 December 2005 (UTC) reply

The introduction to this article is not encyclopedic, and needs to be rewritten.-- Gilabrand 09:20, 7 November 2007 (UTC) reply

So... rewrite. What's stopping you? :-) -- Zikim 16:57, 7 November 2007 (UTC) reply

NPOV

The entire article in present form is anti-Zionist propaganda and fairly inaccurate. Its references are primarily Sternhell who is antagonistic to Zionism, and there are the usual "Ben Gurion quotes" taken out of context and carefully edited to look monstrous.

Many of the statements "facts" and assertions are probably false, including the Hebrew translation of Labor Zionism - which is translated as Socialist Zionism, a slightly different thing. Quoting Sternhell about Labor Zionism is like quoting the Lubavitcher Rabbi about the Qur'an.

The stated goal of Labor Zionism was to create a Jewish proletariat in Palestine and to uphold the dignity of labor as a Jewish national value. It is evident in the writings of Gordon, Ben Gurion and others. Mewnews ( talk) 20:34, 8 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Needs more Sources!

I have added the onesource template. The unsigned editor above was correct in stating that the references are primarily Sternhell, an academic who is known to be hostile to Zionism. In particular, I would like to see more discussion of how Labor Zionism is related to Socialism- right now the article, being so greatly swayed by Sternhell's book (which takes the position, as I understand it, that these two things were in fact not related), tends to argue the same position as the book, which is, needless to say, POV. I will do what I can myself when I can. Rudy Breteler ( talk) 02:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC) reply

Clarity

It was, for many years, a significant tendency among Zionists and Zionist organizational structure and the major stream of the Zionist movement.

A significant tendency to what?

The "labor Zionism Today" section, the first sentence especially, is unclear. What is the two-state solution a solution for? I shouldn't have to read another article just to find out what 'Labor Zionism' is. I shouldn't have to look at another article to understand this one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.166.31.61 ( talk) 20:42, 7 October 2009 (UTC) reply

labor or labour?

Do the Jews speak Commonwealth English or American English? WHO do they love more, their former saviours - or - their current ones? As 'labour zionism' is rooted in Europe, it would be logical to use the European/Commonwealth spelling. Bever ( talk) 05:26, 8 December 2014 (UTC) reply

NPOV

I strongly feel that the citation Z. Sternhell, 1998, The Founding Myths of Israel, ISBN 0-691-01694-1 is not adhering to Neutral Point of veiw. While an entire section is dependant on it. Is there any other sources that cites the same content? Dheerajmpai23 ( talk) 23:30, 27 March 2019 (UTC) reply
