Authenticity check: A search reveals that the phrase "regarded by many" appears in the text. Is the phrase a symptom of a dubious statement? Could a source be quoted instead? Perhaps the "many" could be identified? Might text be edited to more genuinely reflect specific facts?
This article is clearly written by one of Inslee's staff. There is no critical information remaining, nor any mention of votes that may be unpopular in the current mid-term election year. 74.242.250.182 ( talk) 22:32, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
As with pretty much everything in Wikipedia, this article slants to the Left. A neutral article would explain how Inslee, of prime age for the Vietnam draft, somehow avoided it. A neutral article would mention that in 2017 Inslee ordered state police to not notify ICE even where a criminal illegal alien deported multiple times is in their custody. In other words, some writer needs to articulate that Inslee is not just a garden variety Democrat, but a good bit to the Left of that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.44.233.118 ( talk) 00:40, 7 April 2017 (UTC)
Is it just me, or does this statement seem less-than-neutral? Mr. Anon 515 17:48, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
This article contains so many similar photos of Inslee that it's becoming distracting. If no one objects, I'm going to pare down a bit. Arbor8 ( talk) 16:58, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
There aren't currently any reliable sources which state that Inslee has won the 2012 gubernatorial election. Naming him governor-elect in this article at this point is premature. While it seems likely that he has won, it's not sourced and it is definitely not official. Neither the Seattle Times nor the AP has indicated a victory yet. The Washington Secretary of State's numbers here indicate that as of this edit, there are still over 700,000 ballots to be counted statewide. It's possible that the election will be decided after this afternoon's results, but until a decision is made, I will remove the reference to governor-elect from the lead. Regards, Orange Suede Sofa ( talk) 16:17, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
January 14 is indeed a Monday, but the references in Olympia stories are to January 16, 2013, as Inauguration day. What is the discrepancy? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.178.192.179 ( talk) 00:25, 30 November 2012 (UTC)

Start. Short article and needs some structure. Almost still a stub. Aboutmovies 04:48, 16 January 2007 (UTC) |

The paragraph in the lede on the immigration ban is too wordy; I doubt that the immigration ban is the only action he has taken as governor that should be discussed. Since I mis-clicked in doing the initial full revert, I'm going to wait at least 48 hours before making any other edits here to avoid edit-history confusion. Not sure what the procedure for this is, but this page has already seen a little bit of vandalism since Inslee's announcement of his candidacy for Democratic presidential nominee. I would recommend a preemptive lock on this article as I anticipate that will only increase as his profile rises nationally over the course of the campaign. 204.246.8.98 ( talk) 18:59, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
Regarding 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Washington (state):
Washington State banned all gatherings of more than 250 people in the Seattle metro area. Gov. Jay Inslee said it is “very likely” the ban could extend beyond March and could be expanded in the days to come. Shortly after the announcement, Seattle Public Schools announced that schools would close for a minimum of two weeks.

Hello! A few months ago, I posted a similar question on the talk page for Inslee's campaign, but no one responded. Regardless, I think that " Jay Inslee 2020 presidential campaign" should be merged with his main article. This is line with what happened to numerous other 2020 presidential campaigns that didn't gain much traction (see John Hickenlooper 2020 presidential campaign, for example). Inslee's campaign page is extremely barebones and covers information that is largely already included in this article. Should they be merged? Silver181 ( talk) 19:31, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

The image is outdated by nearly a decade and other politicians have followed suit in replacing an outdated official portrait image to a newer one. Here are some options: -- TDKR Chicago 101 ( talk) 11:58, 23 August 2022 (UTC)
If Wikipedia is to be taken seriously it needs to give readers a complete picture of people. This article leaves out many facts that put Inslee in a negative light such as how his climate agenda has Washington paying $2 more per gallon than the national average for gas. Or how those same policies have forced companies out of Washington and have garnered no results. Lets not forget about how Washington voters voted through cheaper car tabs 3 times and all 3 times Inslee vetoed it and ignored voters. Give people a clear view of who he is by giving the good and the bad. You seem too worried about hurting feelings 71.212.105.31 ( talk) 15:48, 17 April 2024 (UTC)
