Merge proposal
I think this articles should be merged into
Tourism in Hawaii. The impacts of tourism in Hawaii seem like they would be more useful to readers as a subsection of the existing
Tourism in Hawaii article than as a standalone article, especially since the
Tourism in Hawaii article only has information on the history, and very little on the impact of tourism on the islands. @

No issues from me. I found the page and figured it was a valid topic, if not as a stand alone topic, than worthy of a merge.

I agree that merging this content would improve the
Tourism in Hawaii article and better serve readers.

I agree that the two articles are related but feel as though my page would serve better as a standalone topic in the sense it is removed to an extent from the history of Tourism in Hawai'i.

But the article
Tourism in Hawaii isn't meant to be about just the history, otherwise it would be called "History of tourism in Hawaii" instead. It's about the general topic of tourism in Hawaii, and the impact of tourism is an important part of it currently isn't covered in the existing article, unfortunately.
Impacts of tourism in Hawaii also isn't linked to from
Tourism in Hawaii, which makes it harder for readers to find what you wrote. If they were merged then it's easier for readers to find since it will all be in one place.

I was going to say just what Mcampany typed when there is was when I opened to edit. We would redirect the one page to the other of course.

Legacypac, I agree. I created a
section on impacts as a placeholder in the main Tourism article. I suggest the content is merged there so that the Tourism article is more complete and not solely a history page.

I've merged the two articles together and changed this one to a redirect. Please let me know if there are any problems and I'll be happy to fix them! @
