Split page

With the completion of the replacement bridge, I feel like it would be a good idea to split this page into two. Since the old bridge and new bridge are completely distinct from each other, I feel like it would be better to have separate pages for both. I propose splitting off the section " Cable-stayed replacement" into its own page since it is already pretty extensive. In its place, I suggest replacing it with a quick summary on this page, and a link directing users to the new article. I suggest renaming this page " Gerald Desmond Bridge (1968–2020)" and naming the new page being split off " Gerald Desmond Bridge (2020–present)", similar to the Tappan Zee Bridges in New York. Yeah, do it. InfinityJackson ( talk) 10:08, 9 October 2020 (UTC) reply

Do You Really Want the Page Split?

I'm willing to split the page, and I just want to make sure that you all are okay with it. I'm just asking because Wikipedia suggests that I communicate with others before splitting a page. Thank you. Interstate 11 ( talk) 22:11, 15 October 2020 (UTC) reply

Wikipedia's Copyright Warning

I noticed that Gerald Desmond Bridge (2020-present) has a copyright warning. I'm using the chat on this page because the text of the other website is actually from this article. The source that the new Gerald Desmond Bridge (2020-present) article was similar to said at the bottom that it got it's information from Wikipedia. This means that the other article got its information from Wikipedia, and not the other way around. I don't know how to remove those warnings, if I'm even able to. Can any of you please remove that warning? I'll go contact an admin user to fix this problem, for if you are unable to remove the warning. Interstate 11 ( talk) 00:42, 17 October 2020 (UTC) reply
