I think this article should be merged into
Interstate 295, as they are basically the same highway. Both I-295 and SR 9A form the
Jacksonville Beltway, and SR 9A will soon be signed as I-295 as soon as the
Federal Highway Administration passes approval. SR 9A currently uses the mileage and exit numbers based off of I-295. The I-295 article already includes the entire beltway in its total length and exit list, so having the same information in two articles seems redundant. According to the
Florida Department of Transportation the entire beltway is internally assigned as SR 9A and once the rest of the beltway officially becomes an interstate, the route will still internally be recognized as SR 9A by FDOT (just how I-4 is SR 400, I-95 is SR 9, I-75 is SR 93, etc.). All this information can be viewed
here. –

Support: It sounds like this is essentially a done deal so I support this merger.

Support - These two roads are mutually related and will become one road once I-295 is extended, so it makes sense to cover them together. Dough4872 04:56, 11 October 2010 (UTC)reply
It doesn't seem that there is any opposition to this move, and you both are active members of
WP:USRD, so I'm going to go ahead and complete the merge. –
