I looked on Biography.com and there is no entry for Elizabeth Eckford so I am not sure whether the statement concerning her trauma (cannot recieve hugs) is accurate as this was the source. —Preceding

I have just met her today and I witnessed it myself. She also cannot handle crowds well. — Preceding

Why would anyone meeting someone for the first time expect them to accept a hug from a stranger? I don't hug strangers either. Also, not sure what the last remark is supposed to signify. Who cares what a non-entity thinks about an icon of the civil rights movement and her ability to "handle crowds"? Why is this supposed to be significant?

Date discrepancy in section about the killing of Erin Eckford
The final sentence reads "On June 18, 2001, the newspaper reported that prosecutors investigating the fatal shooting had decided that the police officers concerned were justified in shooting Mr. Eckford." Mr. Eckford died in 2003. I don't want to just change 2001 to 2003 since I can't find the source of that sentence and it could be a later year. Does anyone know?

Noticed that as well. Did a quick search, but couldn't find anything concerning the follow-up report on the shooting, so I simply removed the date.
