Proto-East Germanic
I'm pretty sure I've heard that there was a Proto-East Germanic people and a Proto-East Germanic language, but I've never been able to find much information on either.
But then I'm well aware that a lot of these things are known through reconstruction and are often rather sketchy and hypothetical... —Preceding
