It would be nice to get more information on the first 60 years that Indian Springs was active. Vegaswikian 19:28, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
In the wikipedia article Drone attacks in Pakistan it states that "strikes are thought be carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) operated remotely by the Central Intelligence". Other sources state that these strikes are carried out by the US Air Force from this Creech Air Force Base. This contradiction that should be corrected. 172.163.113.56 ( talk) 18:59, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
I assume that the base was named for WW1 pilot Jessie Orin Creech, but it isn't mentioned in the article.

Holding off until another source pops up as this is really thin. Hcobb ( talk) 00:28, 11 October 2011 (UTC)

From my reading of this article, CNN has done enough fieldwork to verify the story to the extent that we can say it exists, rather than just say one outlet reported it. Do I have a second on this? Hcobb ( talk) 13:28, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
From the
reference already used, there's one mention of "Regional Training Center" and no mention of a "Regional Training Complex". In Creech's own acronym definitions RTC means "Regional Training Center".
[1] I know some people say that "google isn't research", or some variation of that, but a search for "Creech"+"Regional Training Complex"
yields only four results (all links to Wikipedia or WP mirrors of the page) while "Creech"+"Regional Training Center"
yields 1,160 results. The "complex" right from the original ref is talking about a "range complex" as in a weapons range where they fire a large variety of weapons. Direct quote: "GCTS also has a range complex .... The range complex consists of 12 ranges capable of supporting all small arms fire in the Air Force inventory, a
Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT) village, a bare base tent city and a maneuver area.". So the Complex is just one cog in the wheel that makes up the entirety of the RTC. The RTC is the name of the entire training program at that location, meaning the units (99GCTS in this case), the training that is conducted, etc. —
