Move land/county changes after 1703

Prince George County was formed in 1703, and Charles City County from then on consisted only of land north of the river. I do not think that a table devoted to the development of Southside Virginia needs to be featured in this article. Readers do not want to read here about all the development of Southside VA springing from the divvying up of Prince George County. I am moving most of that material to the articles on PG County and Southside Virginia; other portions may be assigned to counties drawn from it, but likely already is included in those articles. There has been way too much content devoted to Southside development in this article, burying the focus on Charles City County. Parkwells ( talk) 14:28, 21 March 2017 (UTC) reply

breaking off other counties and cities

There is a missing city in this section, and I can't find it in the linked reference or in the history of the article. I believe this city to be Colonial Heights. Quoting the article and bolding the error: "Since then, five counties: Prince George County, Brunswick, Dinwiddie, Amelia, and Prince Edward; and three independent cities: Hopewell, Petersburg and ; have been formed from the original territory of Charles City Shire." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aphoid ( talkcontribs) 14:56, 1 December 2020 (UTC) reply
