Dems hold a 4-3 majority prior to the 2022 election cycle, 2 out of the 7 supreme court seats were up for grabs, both previously held by judges elected on the ticket of the Democratic party and Republicans managed to gain both seats turning the narrow D majority into a substancial 5-2 republican one. 80.131.57.195 ( talk) 02:59, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
