In the sidebar, it says that the school mascot is "I'o". The correct spelling, if you are including the 'okina, is 'Io. I had no idea how to edit that particular section.
It might be worth finding out if it's even true that the mascot is an 'io. It wasn't when I was there, but that was in antedeluvian times and it might have changed. I'd check the school website, but it seems to be not responding just now.
Considering the statue infront of the library is of an 'Io, i would have to think it is.
The vandalism at <22:38, 8 April 2005 204.130.130.185 (Talk) (Adding section "teh infamous teachers")> is a must-read. It reminds me of some "underground" publications when I attended. Speaking of publications, I follow the alum section in the bulletin. Most of you would not believe where life has taken some of us. Not in a negative or better-than/worse-than sense. Just very different, unconventional, and interesting. It's been an adventure, that's all I can say.
Please sign your posts using four tildes, thank you. I'm not too sure if the mascot is an 'io (hawk), what about the 'Go Raiders'? Should that be included in the article? I recieve the 'Iolani bulletin as well, I think that that can be used as a reliable source. Midorihana (talk) (contribs) 07:45, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
Why is Sun Yat-sen, aka "Sunny", also listed as an alum of Punahou?
Would it make sense to have a new section about the different buildings, equipment, etc. ? I know that the Weinberg building has only existed for a couple of years, but Castle and I-building are much older. Midorihana (talk) (contribs) 04:44, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

There needs to be a clean up of the school's history and a closer look by someone else who knows more about the subject than I do. Things are left out of the story and it is hard to understand dates. Currently just two of the sources I have looked out disagree on many points. The school's history timeline does not agree with the what is written in a history article about Sun Yat-sen with the article having exact dates while the school seems to be guessing at best (yet claiming they used the school's archival data to compile the time).-- KAVEBEAR ( talk) 02:11, 6 February 2017 (UTC)

(
help)I believe the history section and the article itself are ready for the cleanup tag to be removed. -- 9563rj ( talk) 04:08, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
