If tritheism is a hypothetical belief system, who has hypothesized it? It looks like nothing more than a gross misunderstanding or parody of the Christian Trinity, and probably a gross distortion of Hinduism as well. Perhaps a straw man doctrine used to refute the real ones? Wesley 14:22 May 5, 2003 (UTC)

Not sure who wrote this article, but this claim is untrue. "One God in Three Persons" is the orthodox position. — Preceding
