As we've already done it for March, should we do the same thing for April right now or wait until references start not displaying correctly? --

If that's the case, I will split the pages soon.

Seeing as no action has been taken in a week, I'm assuming we're leaving this page as is until reference overabundance happens again. --

I was waiting to get approval to split the pages. If yes, I will do it.

Will be a good idea to split into separate pandemic and response sections. Will just have to copy and paste the Al Jazeera and other news references I have been using. Will be good to do it before the references start playing up.

So, should we use it, the six continent model, the seven continent model, or what?
For that, I think we will use what people are familiar with.

It's been sorted into the WHO's Six Continent model. Probably no good reason to retrofit the previous monthly timelines from the PHEIC onwards, but I think this shift beginning in April is salient.

Greetings and felicitations. "COVID" or "Covid"? Ignoring the use in references, "Covid" seems to be the more used, but "COVID" is what is used for the
Wikipedia article (and as an acronym is supported by the
MOS, as well as being my personal preference). Should I clean this up (only in the article text, I mean, not the references) or leave it alone? —
DocWatson42 (

It's an acronym. Leave it be.

Tenryuu: Thank you. That seems on point for me to clean up the body of the article (to be clear: not the references), changing all instances of "Covid" to "COVID". Further comments? —
DocWatson42 (

I concur. "The 'Rona" is the preferred colloquial expression anyway.

Someone get to it before me, so there were only two instances left to correct. I also cleaned up the
MOS:LAYOUT, deleted link cruft, and corrected a few instances of a name in references. Thank you for collaborating. ^_^ —

Next month
For May, should we create two articles looking at the timeline of the epidemic and the responses:
Timeline of the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in May 2020 and
Responses to the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic in May 2020? For the responses section, we could divide into the WHO's six global regions: Africa, the Americas, Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, South-East Asia, and the Western Pacific. Having two articles would ensure that it doesn't become too long. It will also make sense to follow the WHO global regions as well.

Andykatib: I support that idea. The articles for November-December 2019 and January 2020 are being done as such similarly as well. —
