This is a joke entry, right? Anybody against deletion?

I think the history and phenomenon of the Tiki Bar is article worthy, however the current offering is quite lacking. Feel free to delete, with the knowledge that this page may come back bigger and better than before.

I added enough stuff to get this started and removed the "cleanup" tag. There should be enough there now to pique peoples' interest, at least.

Great job, congrats! :-)
Peter S. 23:40, 23 September 2006 (UTC)reply
Yeah, I like it, too! :-)
I plumped up article summary by defining a “tiki bar” as a drinking establishment, listing some of the decorative features that differentiate a tiki bar from other types of bars, and mentioning “tiki mugs”. I also added some related articles in the “See Also” section.
Is it worth mentioning within this article that "Tiki Bar" can also refer to a free-standing piece of furniture, or simply the bar itself? —Preceding
