Child bride?

[This journal article https://byustudies.byu.edu/article/a-mysterious-image-brigham-young-with-an-unknown-wife/] dates the photo of Brigham Young and wife to 1850-1854. This article says that Sally was around seven years old when she was captured in 1847. This puts her at 14 years old! Assume that she was really 9 or 10 years old when captured and she’s still only 17 years old. Should the article be updated to describe her as a potential polygamous child bride?
