Hi
Jay D. Easy. I dropped by from
GOCE last month, copy edited this article and removed the copy edit needed tag. I note that you have replaced it, so clearly I didn't do a good enough job. Perhaps you could flag up your specific areas of concern, so I know where to focus my efforts when relooking at it. Thanks.

Hey,
Gog the Mild. Thanks for reaching out. I know I may seem overly critical at. Actually, I know I get overly critical. My edit summaries are never aimed at anyone in particular, so please don't worry about that. Looking at your edits there's little I'd have done differently. In fact, the only thing I'd pick at is why you felt it necessary to translate Fortress of Amsterdam – how is my understanding of the subject improved by arbitrary translations to a language I might not even speak? Though admittedly, that is what the article's named, apparently (why?) Anyways—yeah, I'm not too big on overlinking, beating around the bush, irrelevant details, bad grammar, redundancy, and I dunno, probably lots of other stuff. Same as anyone else, I hope.

Dutch public sympathies
It is stated that the general Dutch public was sympathetic towards the entente, this was not the case, most people were apathethic, but the people who weren't were pro german. the source frankly sucks and a new one is needed.
