can someone come up with a better translation of Bonolata Sen, this one is hideous
The article has been recast recently. It is based on the "Introductory Notes" of "Beyong Land and Time", jointely edited by Faizul Latif Chowdhury and Golam Mustafa. The original part has been retained in the Biogrpahy section. This was lifted from "A Poet Apart" by Clinton Booth Seely. I shall cotinue to work on this article and finish by Ocotber 2007 - Faizul Latif Chowdhury.
This whole article has been copy pasted from the site http://thinkingaustralia.com/thinking_australia/wikipedia/default.php?title=Jibanananda_Das with not even a mention on the ref list. And also there are points which are not true or arguable. Das's stay at kolkata cannot be called an exile. I am going to rewrite this article. Jeroje 16:24, 24 July 2007 (UTC)jeroje
Image:Book4130.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I wondered reading this line "he had included a poem called Hindu Musalman. In it he proclaimed:" And there is nothing what he proclaimed. Did anyone erase something? I checked several changes and still couldnt find that part - this part looks incomplete. Smilitude ( talk) 05:57, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Jibanananda Das is the most important poet of twentieth century Bangla poetry. However, the article on him is rickety in structure. Many parts are verbatim lifted from books. A big section is styled after Clinton Seely. Incomplete in many ways. Some data and information are outdated. Mistakes aplenty. Editorstouch ( talk) 14:53, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

I don't think it's necessary to add each and every book cover of Das im this article. - AlbeitPK ( talk) 06:09, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
